Was it the scheme, skill posistions, or coaching, that made the offense struggle?

Im sorry but East Tennessee football isnt great. With the like of Maryville and Alcoa, thats it. East TN football is competative with each other, but outside of that not very strong football.

Meigs County is in desperate need of both coordinators. The defensive coordinator has had a couple of years under his belt, the defence doesnt play very aggressive and they give up a lot of points. The offensive coordinator was new this year didnt produce much result. From what i hear Coach Harris has potential to be a good coach, just not the experience right now to be a coordinator.

If Meigs County had Travis Sneed on their coaching staff, Meigs would have went undefeated.

I think this will be a good football game. Both teams have the same make up. Hard nosed football players. Nothing flashy about either one, just good ol Fashion football. Should be an enjoyable one to watch.

I've been negative in the past about the situation at Meigs. But after last nights game against Polk, although we got beat, I was impressed with how the coaches and players were prepared. The defense played their hearts out. Polk has a great defense, and gave the offense a fit, but so did our defense. The deciding factor in that game was Polk had kids fresh on offense in the second half, they just wore our defense down. So kudos to the Meigs players and staff.

Alright thanks. Do you do any motivational talks. With your positive attitude, i think the kids would love to hear from you before a game, with all those positive comments.

Its seems like meigs county fans are just now appreciating coach martin. They were a lot of complaining bout him when he was here. Same ol tune, He wasnt getting the so called mysterious athletes that are hiding in the halls out for football. I guess you realize what you had after you run him off.

Explain? Who should take the blame and what was being coached different?

Which coaches need to be fired? Who could they get to help out?

The coaching staff situation, I know of one coach who had an offer to go coach at a neighbor school but turned it down to stay at Meigs, a school in which he has been a part of during his career. It wouldnt surprise me if some coaches left after this year. But do you blame them if they leave since all they hear is its their fault.

I hate to say this but this one should be ugly. Meigs just dont have the athletes. There defense cant stop the run. The offense didnt look good against Boyd. Who is the OC at Meigs. Whoever it is needs to be replaced.

If Meigs wins then they will host the second round playoff game.

Rabble Rouser, its always gotta be about how the other team didnt do enough or didnt have there identity when playing Meigs. I guess in the history of Meigs County football they havent won a single game. Meigs out played, put coached, and just flat out beat Notre Dame. So give me a break with the excuses. Good Luck to ya'll but seriously dude give credit where credit is due not excuses.

Opinions are like a holes, every one has one. Here are some facts. A team that was pick toward the bottem of region 3-3A (Tellico) went to Pigeon Forge and won. Pigeon Forge if i'm not mistaking was pick to make the playoffs in that region. I'm not even going to talk about Pigeon Forge coming to Meigs County and playing, blowout. So i think thats 2 for the weak region and 0 for the so called regions of all regions of 3A. Ya'll have 1 or two teams battling for the championship. Region 3-3A is in a 3 or 4 team deadlock for the title. This region is that good and balanced.
