No starters are hurt, but you're not reading the thread in it's entirety. Another poster was talking about backup Qb's, and said, "He is easily the most talented backup quarterback in 1A this year", to which I responded my opinion on our backup QB that starts on Defense at Outside LB, and is very talented.

You haven't seen McKenzie's backup QB in #14 T. Surber. In my opinion he's the best backup in 1A, as a Freshman he could've started for any HS around. However he didn't start at Qb 1, but as Outside LB and is an All State candidate this year as a Sophomore at that position. He will get his reps as Qb1 as a Jr, and Sr. & could quite possibly be Mckenzie's next Mr. Football candidate from 1A. You heard it hear first. Feel free to ask any other posters from this area!

I enjoyed looking at your poll this season. I'd tweak it here and there, but for the most part looks good.

Ok, I'm wondering if MASE is going to update their UTube channel " Road to State, MASE"? From the looks of it their road was a dead end and the Rebels were the ones that closed the road. We wasn't supposed to beat them, they had the best athletes. How are gonna stop them, they're much bigger than we are. I'm still at loss for words on that defensive performance. Go Rebels, finish it!

He named 4 teams from the West and 2 from the East. Out of the 4 in the West he named, who would've Dresden beat?

Mckenzie Rebel fan here. I'm going with the other team from Carroll County. Mustangs in a close one. Close meaning by 12 points. We'd love to see Huntingdon represent the West in the Ship!

Week 1 they played Mckenzie, and Mckenzie has a stingy, top 5 defense in the State as far as points allowed.

Like the other McKenzie poster @VOLnWTN said, he is an outstanding young man. He's our best run or pass defender at CB, at least in my mind. I don't know if we'd be here without him! He works at DQ, we talk X's and O's when I'm in there.

Don't forget the fast food restaurants Chic Fil A on Bethel campus, Dairy Queen, McDonald's, & Sonic. Prater's Taters, & McKenzie Station Bar and grill.

If MC survives first round, I believe they'll see the real McKenzie Rebels. McKenzie came out cold, and had a few mistakes. Credit to McEwen on how close the game was. Whoever the Rebels face in the 2nd round... don't bet on them coming out cold.

A wing T offense with > 90% rushing.

I'd really like to see McEwen beat Moore County in the first round so the Rebels could get another shot at them.
