  1. Hear me out Kingofthenorth. I figured this out. And I had to apologize to another poster. Its simple, insider or outsider it doesn't matter who the HC is for a program. The only thing(s) you need to justify "hatred" or "not hatred" is the following: 1. Have at least 10 years history observing a team from the stands. (Gives a special insight from a close distance on coaching style and overall coaching abilities.) Bonus Opinion Status: If you had or have a player on the team that had or gets limited playing time) 2. Over the same 10 year history, a person also has to obtain and depend on conversations with current and former players. (This is a must, because as a 14-18 year old kid, they have their thumb on the pulse of what makes a "Good" or "BAD" HC/Coordinator.) 3. Have confidence that you know what your are talking about. (This is a must. And if needed, to build more confidence, one can infiltrate closer on to the field to get a better perspective, by operating a smoke machine for the team before they run out.) This is smart for sure, one might be able to get close enough to hear a coach actually say something while coming on to or off the field, that will help build your case. 4. Stand up for the rights of everyone to have an "OPINION" Good or bad it is your right. (This one is a little tricky, because you can have an opinion, and when asked to justify, stand behind...well no justification at all, just form your opinion.) Whatever you do, DO NOT look at the stats or the flow of the game to form your opinion though. Just form your phantom opinion and roll with it. This will at least make you feel important. 5. Reference #2 often. ALWAYS, its imperative, ALWAYS make sure that you listen to former players opinions that are up to date and filled with expert analysis. Especially, if it makes you feel important and enables you to sit up in the stands week in and week out yelling and bashing the HC for not calling what you think he should be calling. (Again, this one is tricky and has alot of moving parts to it. Because its easy to get in to a mode that not only should the HC/Coordinator have a good play call, he should also be responsible for making sure the ball is snapped on time, the QB doesnt bobble the snap, the ball carriers don't fumble, and every block is made with out failure. Oh and don't let a kid run a wrong route or drop a pass. Any of these scenarios leads to "BAD COACHING and PLAY CALLING." 6. Once your opinion is formulated, always remember the HC/Coordinator will always be "BAD." And the BAD is always there with that HC, especially when its a big game on the line. This is when it gets REALLY BAD. But if you happen to see shades of GOOD during a "big time game" never let your guard down and remember that the HC is still BAD...but when big games are won during bad coaching it is only the will of the players that muster up the strength, courage and mental capacity they learned from friends, family and youtube to over come this BAD coaching. Apologises for the long post. But, this is great information and insight that I have failed my self on over the years. I only thought, to draw an opinion, you had to have a solid basis to formulate off of. PTP
  2. This definitely answered my question. I owe you an apology.
  3. Way off the mark on this comment. It's the next team up...don't think it really matters to H20 who they play. Have to win it to stay in it.
  4. You would be correct. The feeling I had all night was H20 was in control, just had a few timing issues on Offense and well 7-0
  5. I do agree with we could have opened it up downfield an little more. Not sure Marion's DL is built for pass rush and they looked a little confused in coverage.
  6. I thought maybe weather conditions and field position might have kept the playbook a little conservative.
  7. Serious question here...Do you even have a clue what you are talking about? I was at the game last night, along with every game but less than a hand full over the past several years. Please elaborate on how you could even come close to making this statment. I would love to hear how you translate your hatred for Webster in to how this game was called. And GO!
