I am by no means suggesting GR isSuggesting he built that program is a little bit of exaggeration. He didn't come into a program that was in shambles, he took over after they went 35-12 the previous 4 years. But during his 5 years off success, not sure his last year was too good, (which could have been part of his departure, realization of how difficult it can be without superior athletes) he had 3 TN Titan football winners. 2 of his players went on to play at D1 schools. He had the Jimmy's and Joe's. He didn't take a toyota corolla and turn it into this 400 horsepower machine, he took the keys to a 450 horsepower camaro, pressed the gas and steered. I'm not suggesting they shouldn't bring him back either, but some of you act like he is a Guru of a coach, and I disagree with that. I also think if he sees the talent pool start drying up he would be quick to search for a new job and some of you all would justify it for him. Greenback has potential this year and if he came back and they were successful, little credit would be given to the athletes they have and the easier schedule and it would be a bunch of I told you sos. But time will tell, I am curious to see what they decide. The kids needd ti be priority and future of the program needs to be the focus.
