I mean, we might as well start this out by talking about the elephants in the room. MC 100% the best team on our schedule. 2 highly rated and respected players on both sides, #6 Dawson White and #33 Ben Franklin. 2 teams that respect those individual players but are playing as team as best as any fan can hope for. 2 teams that understand you play the game with 11 on the field and guys willing to step up and make plays and one member is no more or less important than the other men on that field. Neither team a one man show but a team effort to excel to greatness. The Dawgs have hit their stride and no better time to play our toughest opponent of the year than now. Buckle up! Think this one is going to be a dandy. Go get ‘em’ DAWGS!

Pulling for Wayne county in this one. Simply because they are 0-2 in region play and we need help making up for that loss to Collinwood! Good luck to both teams!

On a side note, what happened to the burgers? Last year they were not as good as they used to be, I figured it a fluke. Same this year though! Those used to be better than Soda Pop burgers! I miss them

I know it’s hard for you guys to give credit. After last weeks big win, we all said it meant nothing, this would be the test against Richland and MC. What the DAWGS did to Richland last night was nothing fancy. It was hard nosed physical football. Both the D line O line were in total control. D line did exactly what was needed and played amazing, stuffing the run and keeping pressure on the QB. Forced 2 fumbles and DB’s had 3 interceptions. DB coverage was there last night. Yes Raiders converted on some curls beating our coverage 3. Disagree Raiders had an off night. They put up the same average points as they have all year. Not sure the game stats, but I bet they are in line with their other games. They moved the ball on us. These Dawgs were fired up. Raiders said Ben was overrated, LBs were too small, etc. This was rivalry football and the Raiders got punched square in the mouth last night. I never dreamed the game would go this way and TBH was worried this would be a loss. We were tested and got an A+. Are the Dawgs back? This game made a strong statement. After some early stumbles, it seems like that was a wake-up call to them. Everyone was predicting MC 1 and Richland 2 in this region. We knocked off 2 and plan to give MC a run for their Money next week. GO DAWGS!

Game day! Looking forward to this battle (and one of those Richland hamburgers!) Many battles between these 2 over the years, this time it’s not just bragging rights, it’s a regional game. Expect both teams to lay it all on the line. GO DAWGS!

same! We know this will be a tough game. Watched film on Richland today, they are very well rounded. For us to win, D line is going to have to pressure QB and not give him time to throw. Corners going to have to play the curl routes and screens tight. We can’t let Richland get away early. We need to control the ball and clock and keep this a low scoring dogfight.

One thing we all know for certain, this game will be PHYSICAL! Line play dictates the outcome of this one for sure. Going to be a dogfight game. I see this coming down 3 or 7 points either way. Obviously going to say we come out on top.

Blown away by the outcome of this one. I know you said Eagleville was off. Collinwood putting up 38 is impressive considering the way you guys have played everyone else. After shutting us out, and besting you guys, the question must be asked, Is Collinwood the sleeper this year? They are playing some great ball it sounds like.

Great game by the Dawgs! Let’s start with positives. 1. O-line was far more aggressive and firing off the ball, controlled the line of scrimmage. Way to come back this week boys. 2. Ben did not have to do it all and even got some rest on defensive and offense. Big plays were made running the ball by 3, 7, 8, 9. #7 had 2 long touchdown runs. Our other weapons showed up to play. 3. defensively they got us on some deep passes. Hit us deep on the outside in cover 3 where corners simply got burned for touchdowns and one over the middle where safety was cheating to cover their best player #3 which set up a punch in from a yard or 2 out. Hit us with a perfect call one of the few times we went in cover 2 and QB and wide receiver connected perfectly between the safety over the top and the corner in the flats. Had a few dropped picks. We did pick them off 2 times . 38 came up with a great pick on a tipped ball. 8 had been watching film and played a perfect play from the end to get a pick six on a screen play. D line was disruptive all night. Stuffed the run for the most part. It was great performance and we got whole quarter of playing time for some younger players which has not been much of an option for us this year. We figured this sort of game was coming. Ezell just not that physical. We need to understand who we played and work hard this week. Our toughest challenges of the season lie ahead these next 2 weeks. Coach’s post game speech was spot on. Let’s enjoy this win, but we have to come back and work even harder this week to prepare for Richland! GO DAWGS!
