Well Percy what’s the problem with Tullahoma. Lack of talent. Not enough Kids playing. I figured they’d be pretty solid this year compared to last.

How’s Cloudland just outside the Top 10. I believe that they only have like 16 Kids on the whole team. I understand that they’re tough Roan Mtn Boys but i just don’t see it. I know they had a couple of easy wins but still. .

Tullahoma is a lot deeper than MC’s first 11. Probably be a close game for the first half. MC has a great 1A team. No doubt. But they can’t compete with the bigger schools. Just my opinion

I understand that FC had 8 kids suspended for the MC game. I think Tullahoma would mop the floor with MC. So I’d Definitely take the 28. IF FC was at full strength this game could’ve easily gone the other way. Don’t think it’s entirely fair to compare FC vs S Pitt and MC.

Sounds great. He really carried Hampton on his back last season against Boone. David vs Goliath type Game. The Dogs shocked Everyone by the way the entire Team Played. I’m honestly still shocked. But that’s why you play the Games. I wish Him well in his future endeavors.

Great talent overcomes very average coaching. Morison wasn’t great by any stretch but Johnson just has been a total disappointment.

Agreed. Watched the City Game. I just think they’re a little small and slow in the secondary and at the skill positions. They’re a Senior Team with a lot of experience and possibly the best 1A QB in the State. Plus they have to play most of their O-Line both ways. Their first 11 are awfully good. But they just don’t have much depth behind them. City has athletes and it was a one score game at the half. IF their QB had made some plays on wide open receivers that game could have been really close. City has cut back to like 8 penalties a game from 14 last season but Won with average coaching (I’m being generous) and just out athleted everyone until they faced McKenzie. 11 penalties for 135yrds cost them a State Championship. Sequatchie is a very good 2A school. But I’m betting that S. Pitt wins by 2 scores. But since you’ve seen ‘em both play I’ll trust your opinion. I’d actually love for MC to make it to Chattanooga but I’m not betting on atp. An injury or 2 would completely derail their chances.

I Don’t EVER see Witten leaving EHS for SH. Ain’t happening. He’s a legacy for his Grandfather “Father” Dave Rider. And i remember coach Rider coming out to a Friday Pep Rally in the Gym sitting on a toilet on wheels because JC gets its water downstream from Elizabethton’s wastewater treatment plant. They referred to us as “Cow Town” and we called them “Sewer City”. It was all in Fun of Course but they are and probably will Always be our biggest rival. It’s always been a David vs Goliath type game. With SH having 4x the enrollment of EHS. We’ve always held our own with SH going back 50yrs. It’s always been called the “Tri Cities” but Rider kept us competitive with the Bigger Schools. The only way i see Witten leaving is to be closer to his brother in Texas or maybe taking a College Job as an Assistant at a Power 5 or maybe ETSU if that opportunity opens up. But there’s just Not enough money to get Witten to coach SH.

Are the Cyclones for Real? I’m really surprised with the skill players they lost last season. But i am Impressed with their first 2 Wins. Maybe the Greenville Game will be the best of the Season. I need to watch their utube channel and see how they look. But I’m actually a little shocked atp.
