  1. Thank you ballpark I have been fortunate in having a great assisstant coach and a great and talented group of girls to work with. They are working hard and striving for more improvement each week. I'm very proud of each and every one of them!!
  2. Coaches are very proud of our Lady Patriots! Ya'll played a great game both offensively and defensively! You have to come to every game ready to play as you did at East. East is a good team and we had to come to play to beat them, as we will with any team we play Im proud of you all!! GO PATRIOTS!!
  3. Cherrie's BA is .408...she bats from the left hand side and is very quick. A few of her hits have been from beating out the throws to first. She is a great asset to our team both offensively and defensively.

  5. Congratulations Coach!! You have had some great teams over the past 13 years with talented and special young ladies. You know how to bring out the best in your girls as students, atheletes, and people. No one is more deserving of this great accomplishment! I am so proud to have had you as a coach and now as a colleague both in teaching and coaching Wish you all the best in the future!! Michelle Warren-Hall Class of 90
  6. Well said We have to literally step up to the plate and get the job done!
  7. Im a small single A school and we play on our city park fields. We dont charge an admission due to the fact that if we did, the city would require us to give them a certain percentage of our ticket sales. I'm not complaining though because city people drag, line, and take care of the field for us They basically dont' want us fooling with the maintenance of their fields lol And I have to give a BIG shout out to our school's Athletic Booster Club. They have two big fundraisers a year and take care of all sports in our school. Our booster club gave the softball program $2300.00 this year for equipment, new uniforms, etc. Our Athletic Boosters also gave our Special Ed. department over $300 for uniforms for those students participating in the Special Olympics. Our athletic program is very fortunate and grateful for such a great booster club. I am sorry for those softball programs not getting support from boosters or their schools. It's a shame.
  8. DA always brings a team ready to play and win and Heritage did not do that this time. We werent mentally prepared for that game. DA hit the ball very well and had great defense. Their people off the bench played well too. We still have things to improve upon. Our next game with them will prove to be better. And yes, I do agree with you on bringing an A+ team/game to the field when playing DA...anything less will have its consequences.
  9. Thank you Ballpark WH-Heritage has greatly improved since last year and keep improving with each week. Record is 10-6 with tough district play just beginning. Defense is strong and hitting is improving. The team's continuous hard work will be sure to turn the losses of last year into wins for us this year. Coaches are very proud! Go Patriots!
  10. I agree...Chrissy did do a really great job this weekend! While at the tourney...I saw great pitching from Greenbrier's pitchers Kristen Grogan and Kayla Norton. I know they also have Nicole Head, but I didn't see her pitch. Greenbrier won 2nd at the MTSCA tourney this weekend.
  11. Hi I'm trying to complete my team's roster for the 2005 Softball season. As of right now, I only have 5 players listed. Can anyone help? Thank you!
  12. My apologies for making my reply sound selfish...that was not my intent at all. Putting names on ballots and score sheets was not a big deal and I definitely know that the tournament and all the MTSCA does is for our girls and for the promotion of girls softball. My reply was not trying to take anything away from the tournament and certainly not anything from the players. I guess I was just disappointed that players who were put on ballots would not get recognized. That is no one's fault and something that couldn't be helped. Evidently my choice of words in describing a disappointing situation were not the best and I apologize for that. The tournament was great and ran very smoothly. I thought it was a great display of girls softball! Our area is filled with so much talent! Thanks to everyone who made it possible! I'm glad to be a part of the association and look forward to another great tourney next year!
  13. Patriot coaches are very proud of both pitchers and the entire team! We are playing well and turning heads Proud of my Patriots!!
