I guess they forgot to put the work in this year but they will next year? I guess they thought they could just let it ride on the new brand! Give me a break. They will only be better next year because the region will be the weakest in the state!

That is a great statement! I do believe they had personnel to have a 6-4 season but they got worse every game. If you are not showing improvement from week to week and keep making the same mistakes, you are either not coaching or allowing it to happen. When the locker room becomes an issue it is a carry over into the practice and the games. Not that Sisk will be fired but every Coach is hired on the basis he or she will be fired. If an AD or Principal doesn't have a name in their desk drawer of the next guy they want to hire they are not doing their Job. That is the problem here. Sisk would have been much better off being the next guy after they fired this guy.

The staff is young when it comes to leadership. The players do not respect the staff (including the head coach). When Olive stepped down years of experience and respect went out the window. The offense is flawed. They do not work on match ups. They call plays just to call them. They need to call plays based on match ups. Last 3 years u could call most anything and it would work because of the players. With out those kids it comes down to the best match ups.

Highest supplements around plus the teachers pay is the highest around. They match the Oak Ridge supplements and pay scale. That is what Tullahoma has always prided its self on.

100% Not a technique Coach at QB. Most kids have different motions and angels of delivery. One that can tell u the process on how and when to get the ball out. Reads, indicators and personnel of the other team. Who we need to go after. Find their weak link in the secondary, lbs and D-lineman to check a new play to that person to fit the situation.

If you are going to run a spread offense the big 300lb guys are not a be all to be successful. Having guys that can run and move. In a spread game you do a lot of punch and climb to backers and try to stay 3yds only up field for the pass or Run. Most the times u leave a defender unblocked and read that guy. So pancaking people in a spread is not really a thing. Making contact and getting to the next level. Having Skill kids is more important so the defense will spread out to open holes and make it easier to for lineman to block. Tullahoma has plenty of skill kids but not used very will. I am sure u listen to the post game shows for Tullahoma since u are a very big supporter and the coaches show. Pruitt won a NC as DC and Sisk won at State Championship as DC. Pruitt first year at Tennessee 5-7 no bowl game, Sisk First year at Tullahoma 4-6 no playoffs. So ttown58 had a good comparison.

Why would people blast you? You have an opinion and can say it. Part of the problem is people can't take a different opinions. No opinion means a lot. Even mine. But, If a team continues to go backwards during the year, does not improve at all unless u are playing very bad teams like Glencliff, Coaches not watching the locker room, not lining up correctly and poor play over and over. People start to think where the issues are (kids or Coaches) (leadership issue or respect issue). The weak region next year should help the cats overall record and money. Maybe they will win some of the local games and make money. That will let them buy new cardinal helmets and keep with the school colors. Cardinal is the main color not Black. The only positive since the first game vs a poor shelbyville team is that it is the end of the year.

When u are not very competitive people treat you very well. They like those teams rolling into town.

Lots of bad football for sure. Most regions will have one or 2 good teams. Like MC and PC this year (the rest of the region is mush) but next year in this region (if this becomes the region) it will be weak top to bottom.

Next Years Region Super Power Region. Maybe 2 playoff teams this year This will be the laughing stock of Regions. Hopefully they will all make some money because the Region will be bad! Only because it will be the weakest Region in the state. Look at the records of those teams and FC will be losing all of their kids. These teams will be put out in the first round of the playoffs next year.

I've been watching Tullahoma FB for roughly 45+ years, played there and had kids play there. The head coach they had didn't allow the things that are happening now. He made sure the assistant coaches did their job. He is gone now and not involved in the daily running of the program. No one on staff has ever been a head coach. Maybe the coaches are too buddy buddy with the players and can't make them do their job. Respect. It is amuck or this wouldn't happen in the locker room. This team has had more work then most teams coming into a season after a good year. Full JV season and 15 games on the Varsity practicing. The coaches need to be coaching them up at every position. With this they would cut out the mental mistakes. They can't even line up. That is a fundamental part of FB from the first day of Pop warner fb. Where were the videos, pics and harassment of young freshmen when Coach Olive was in charge?

I think it is funny how people keep saying they lost everyone. Every year teams lose players. When last years bunch were Freshman and Sophomores they lost a lot in front of them. Then they went undefeated two years in a row during the regular season. This years group played a lot vs. the kids they are playing each Friday this year. They played 1/2 a game in most situations. Maybe the Coaches haven't coached them up. Resting on the last 3 years with really smart athletic kids. This group needs to be coached. You can tell the QB isn't getting much coaching. Lots of athletic kids on the team but the best is not being brought out in them. No head coaching experience on the staff but you can tell that by the turmoil.

When it was bad in 2015 you had a head coach that had been there 25 years and earned the right to a losing season or 3. Coach Sisk has been a Coach for a long time for a lot of losing programs and programs in turmoil. CC, LC, and Tullahoma. Tullahoma has had only a few really good seasons in their history but have always been consistent. No reason for this team to be this far off. I agree with Percy, the rest of the season should be easy enough to make the playoffs but I only see 2 wins. The group that graduated played a lot on fridays as sophomores and they had a good year then, (just like this group) their JR year even a better year due to more playing time and then last year they finished it off. This group was going to win with or without a great coaching staff. They had done that their entire athletic life. i will say this. The locker room is the Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches responsibility 100% and it was his call on the uniforms along with the assistants. If things are happening in the locker room the Coaches are not doing their job. I remember playing and 2 coaches always sitting on the couches making sure players showered and sprayed with nitrotan for cuts when u left the fieldhouse. No messing around in the field house and no pics of other players or freshman getting harassed and wrestled to the ground. ALL Coaches responsibilities. It is funny how after the situation they make the kids start following the already in place cell phone policy. No phones out! You can protect the coach all you want to. I could care less who the coach is but It is not going away. You just want everyone to stop talking about it so things will settle down. This is the defending state champions!!! They can't line up and they can't execute simple task right now. No one is taking a deep breath. The people that had pics posted of them and the Freshman being harassed may feel a little different about it. If people keep trying to cover it up others will keep bringing out more and believe me there is always more that people know.

I have always seen over the years that most high school coaches do not get fired over wins and losses unless it is for a long period of time or at a private school. (Look a Lawrenceburg and Coffee county over the years). If you do not watch the locker room, the classroom and keep your hands off of players or students, you will get fired. No supervision in the locker room will get you every time no matter who your mom, dad or an AD protecting you are. Most locker rooms have a coach or two that watch the locker room after practice until the players are gone so this doesn't happen. Players Taking pics/videos of each other exposed and harassing younger players, without consent and no supervision and a poor season will get u fired. Looks like they may rest some of their guys against PC so they can try to get a few Ws against lesser teams after PC game to try and make the playoffs. PC by as many as they can score In Tullahoma if they like you and u brown nose enough u might survive but if they are on the fence with u to begin with u are gone. It is like one time when they were in the state baseball tournament and got put out. Girls staying in the rooms and alcohol in the rooms after the game. No supervision. One of the coaches is a principal now and one player is a coach now.
