Not accurate. Mckenzie never initiated a call. I know Matt called at least 3 times. Yall had been waiting to hear back from a school according to Hodge. We all know this would be a whipping for Mckenzie but at least it would have been a good gate for both teams.

Makes perfect since drive 2 hours to play a game out of state in KY or go 20 minutes down the road. Home gate will be horrible verses getting Westview gate. Crazy!!

They do. Westview has reached to Hodge multiple times to try and get a 2 year deal done. Not any interest on there end to play the game. It would be good gates for both schools. Westview reached out to Huntingdon as well early in the scheduling and the declined to play as well. Makes no sense because of the gates for the communities. Westview is having a hard time filling out the non region schedule. Looks like the chargers will be going to middle Tennessee to play private schools if something doesn’t change. Mase is booked week 1 and Lausanne is booked week 7.

Thats my exact question when I started this thread. What is going to happen to Covington program? Losing Coach, best lineman, Both RB, and a few other kids to Munford. This will leave them with at least 10 starters to replace on defense and I believe the entire offensive line. I think this definitely put them as 3rd or 4th next year in the region. Looks like there could be trouble in paradise. My sources tell me that Kirby and his son (All state Lineman) are going to Henry County. I was also advised that the younger Smith kid along with a few other kids are now heading to Munford. Wonder what the expectations will be now there in C town. Not looking very good from everything I have been told.

Huntingdon was asked and they declined. McKenzie waiting to hear back from another team. If that doesn’t work out they may play us I think week 3. Matt has called all over to get games in West Tenn and Kentucky but no one wants to play us. He is now reaching out to Middle Tennessee private programs. It’s really difficult to get the dates to match up. Can’t believe Dresden dropped out of the week 1 rivalry. It’s ridiculous!!

I was referring to scheduling Aloca in the regular season. We reached out to them and their schedule is already set for next season. We have 3 non region games still to fill.

Facts are facts. There are running scared. We took our lumps those years y’all won the state championship. We never complained or try to cancel. But yall on the other hand are totally different. When you have zero chance to win you run home with your tail between your legs. Great example to set for your kids. If you can’t win then don’t even try!
