Better facilities, more money, closer drive and a team that's going back to Chatanooga no matter who is probably coaching them. Dresden is in a bad spot cause the talent is going to be down next 3 years and going to be tough to recruit a proven winning coach to take on that challenge. Look for Westview to put it on Dtown pride hard the next 3 years (40+ points)

I see Westview mercy ruling Boliver again next year. That Sr Qb was held to -37 total yards of offense. He looked very average against us!! How do you see next years game going ??

LOL!! It’s obvious you have no clue the state of our program before Matt came in. He brought in discipline, work ethic, toughness and a fantastic weight program. There is zero percent chance that Westview wins that state championship if Matt doesn’t come in and totally change the culture. That’s the exact reason he was brought back. We have probably the most talented skill guys than any other team in West Tenn. And as far as the defense goes we have 8 starters returning to a team that only game up 17 points a game. We are absolutely thinking Chattanooga the next 3 years.

Yeah there were a lot of people upset with the way the program was being run! Thats why we are thankful the Administration saw the issues as well and made the change we needed. Weight room work is way improved and kids are loving the new coaches and new programs that have been installed.

This is 100% accurate. The Cubbard is bare there and they would have blamed it all on him at the end of this next season. He knew what was in store talent wise for the next 4 years and got out while he could. Milan is in trouble for sure!

The talent pool in Milan is as shallow as it’s been in 30 years. Anyone who has followed there middle school program the past 4 years knows this. They are in trouble and Carr knew it. Thats why he is gone. The cubbard is bare and they would have try to pin it on him next year. So he just beat them to the punch.

Donteze Joy, he almost broke the record last year for most receiving yards in a single game is now # 2 on the list. He will be a Jr next year and is already getting looks from most SEC schools. He was receiver of the Year in our Region

Obviously I know you have no idea the way the program was being run so I don't fault you for that but to say things have majorly upgraded starting in the weight room is an understatement. There are several things that led to the coaching change and It had nothing to do with the record the past 3 years. We have moved on from 3 coaches total and have brought in 3 great new additions. Everything is stable at the View and kids are looking forward to a deep playoff run. Gonna be a lot of points scored the next few years to come and great D-fense play as well. Future is Bright in Martin thanks, to the administration making the appropriate changes.

Yall will have a good squad coming back no doubt and Dyersburg lost a lot of senior starters. Westview has 8 starters coming back on a defense that only gave up 17 points a game. Our Middle Linebacker that recorded over 100 tackles the year before last didn't see any playing time until last 3 games of the season due to injury, so he will be back. We have a ton of offensive talent that were just Freshman and Sophomores last year Including the best WR probably in West Tn . With Sipmson at Qb the next 2- or 3-years Westview is going to be dangerous.

I pretty sure you were at the game, final yall won by 3. Dyersburg ran the second half kick off back on the sideline where one of our kids got blocked in the back. Go back and watch the film. If it wasn't for that we win the game. Final was 18-21. Our young Defense held yall to 2 TD. Nothing I said was inaccurate including Dyersburg was full of Senior starters and Westview had mostly Freshman and Sophomores starting.

Bigger Dogs? LOL. Westview almost beat Dyersburg last year in playoffs with mostly freshmen and sophomores starting. Dyersburg had like 19 seniors. Westview will be the Standard for this Region for several years to come. We are not moving back to 2A. The 7th, 8th, and 9th grade classes are way too big. We will move to 4A before we go back to 2A.

First off Camden hasn't had the athletes on the football team to compete in that region. Most of those kids play baseball and basketball it's been that way for a while now. So, it's gonna be extremely hard for anyone to win there consistently. Matt is a fantastic offensive minded coach and will put up a ton of points with the athletes we currently have. We return 8 Starters on defense next year and we Avg giving up just 17 points a game this year. Coach Callins will have the Defense ready again next year. It's gonna be a real fun to watch if you're a Westview fan. Not so fun for the competition!

Funny? Westview will hang 60 on Dresden next year! And probably the next 5 years. I have no clue what the SEC or Canton has to do with West Tenn football but I guarantee you this, the Region will go thru Martin for the next few years and you can take that to the bank!

I have heard some really good names. Who have they had their eye on?

There are several factors that lead to Neal and Westview parting ways. The wins and loses had nothing to do with it. It was the way the program was trending in several areas. The talent we have had the past few years and the next years to come is going to produce a ton of wins no matter who is coaching these kids. We thank Coach Neal for his time here and wish him the best in Middle Tennesse.

Gentleman, There is no need for any of this. Jarod Neal is a fine fellow with a great family. Everyone wishes him the best on his next Coaching venture. The bottom line is the Administration didn't see eye to eye with him and chose to go in a different direction. I completely agree with the move Westview made. I believe this was the very best thing for the kids. It is obvious that QuickStike is family or close friends to Neal and I get your upset but there is no reason to hope the program crashes and burns. He will be better somewhere else, and our program will be better with a new coach moving forward. In my opinion I believe GoChargers was just stating if you're trying to help Neal get a new job, he would advise taking down the comments before he listed some reasons why he was let go. Thats all.

LOL! Why so salty? There is a long list of exceptionally successful coaches that have reached out for this job. Some are former State Championship coaches and 2 coaches are currently coaching in College. Westview is going to be very dominate the next few years. Look for them to make multiple trips to Chattanooga soon. Thats why everyone wants this job. Only way Graham leaves is if Jason got a new job somewhere else. Probably gonna have to find somewhere else to hate cause the "Wheels are going to roll smooth here at the View"

UC by 14, I had them picked the first game but turnovers cost them. They play a clean game it should be over in the start of the 4th!

Who Does Milan got this week?

That's pretty Classless running the kid down. He played his guts out Friday night. No one thinks he has skill set of Ty but he used the tools he had all year to try and help us . Yes he made some mistakes, all the kids did. And as far as me being delusional we did pass the ball Friday because that's what had to be done to give us a chance to Win and we would have if they called the holding on the kick when they tackled Cooper Spaulding out of bounds.

Well, its almost that time. The kids are heading to Dyersburg feeling confident in a bounce back from last game. Like I said earlier this week if we don't turn the ball over, we have a good chance to leave with the upset of the year. No doubt Dyersburg is a great team, but the QB/FS loss is going to be obvious tonight. Look for the passing attack to be in full affect tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if we put it in the air 40 times tonight. Go Chargers!

Too many turnovers last game to beat even an average team. What we do best is by air, I don't see that changing this week. Defiantly under dog but if we play a turnover free game we have a chance. The QB/Safety being out will absolutely have a huge effect on the game I don't care what the Trojan faithful say. And I do since some serious nervousness. Like my Daddy always said, He who laughs last laughs best. We shall see! And if anyone is wondering we are stacked with Freshman and Sophomores who have started all year long! So great things ahead either way!
