I actually just now went back and watched the Hudl film just to make sure my “facts were straight” First. It’s all about getting work in…. I just saw where OR fans were claiming “victory”. And yes they had 14-13 when the clock ran out…. But. Just to be fair There were no starters in the game for GHS for the entire second scoring drive of OR, OR starters were still in…..TD pass from their starter to Heyward. Also GHS starting O was out after that…. Brandon…(kicker) did not play. Again. Not trying to bash OR (great team). But if you want facts…..

And no. It was not the varsity. The backups were in when OR scored its 2nd TD.. I’m not trying to bash OR, they are a good team…. It was a good “practice” for both teams.

OR second score was against GHS second team, and the INt was also against Devils backups…. Also.. Devils kicker did not play.

Greeneville was up 13-7 when their starters came out. OR scored on a passing play after that against Devils backups to take the lead. The iNt was against GHS backups

I saw one the other day that had kids on a teams roster that graduated 2 years ago…. And other that were listed as top prospects that were 4th string and will never play.

Def appreciate your love and passion for your team. I don’t mean to disrespect them at all. I know the GVille and Betsy rosters probably more than anyone in here. Betsy is def down (not out) they could still be undefeated in conf going to the GHS game. They will be playing with a freshman and sophomore QB. The o/d line will be solid though. Devils have talent, speed, strength all over the field.

I won’t go in to detail. But wasn’t hard to figure out how to stop last years team.. and one loss will in no way slow down a 4 time champ team like Gville, if anything it makes them hungry. I am not trying to talk trash or be rude…. I think the recent series is still like 7–1?

Oh. And Elizabethton will be in the mix most of the year….only because the Gville/Betsy game is week 10. This rescheduling is what the TSSAA wanted to keep the season “relevant”

I know we are all biased towards our favorite team, but Greeneville is bigger, faster , and stronger than they have been in a long time.

Again. I don’t think his comment was disrespectful and nor are mine, just saying that AC lost more to graduation and Devils have a lot returning. It’s a long year and a lot can happen, but I think GHS would have to be the favorite although Mavs won the last game. I think AC was the favorite last year even though they lost the year before.

He was there and participated in 7/7 but not 11/11. (QB) Good group of young men, Greeneville fed them after the game and all the volunteers commented on out respectful they were.
