  1. Every school Brody has been to, his siblings have followed, so no surprise there doesn’t mean they moved. From Catholic to Bearden to Maryville, same old, same old.
  2. They would’ve killed them…
  3. The Smith family wouldn’t leave their business to move father away. They didn’t move anywhere, maybe the address on the paperwork says they did. The Smith family didn’t
  4. Third school in three years I guess that’s the sign of whats to come for high school football…
  5. He definitely had an advantage in talent over West both years that they played 2022, which was just a straight embarrassment. Nobody was expecting Paige to lose by that much or even lose to Knox West, but they did, and you can only point fingers so far either way. However, look at it: the two losses from this season from independence and Knoxville West shouldn’t have happened and only happened because of terrible time management and play calls at the end of the game, which has been a common thing. Verizon, tire coaching career at page I'm not doubting he is a great coach and has built something special over at page, but he just needs to complete the journey with a gold ball, which he hasn’t done so far, even though looking at his past teams.
  6. Well, the official website is wrong then, because that’s what I was reading; it says he's been there for nine years, but either way, he’s had a lot of good teams that have not shown up in state at all when they were needed to and should have.
  7. Paige head football coach Charles Rathbone is going into his 10th season, and if he doesn’t win state this year, I think it’s got to be his last. He’s had some very good teams, but especially this past season completely sold this year with terrible play calling and time management all year. They had all the capability in the world to win a championship this last season, and they do again this year, especially with a linebacker duo like Anes and Hazzard. I would give him this year, but if he doesn’t win a championship, or at least even make it to the championship game, it’s got to be his last;, there’s no more excuses for him.
  8. Good guess I forgot they already announced it
  9. 10/17 is the only date left. Let’s start taking guesses, How about it? If I had to take a swing at it, I would probably go with Boyd-Buchanan at Knoxville Webb, or maybe Bearden at Farragut, Alcoa at Maryville. But I would most want to see Knoxville Webb vs Boyd. In fact, I’ll probably go to that game.

  16. That’s what I’m thinking, I haven’t heard anything, but if it’s true good get for BHS.
  17. The athletic director must’ve not gone through any of the current assistant coaches to hear about their opinion that or they're already gone, and the closet is very deep, hopefully he can do it in one off-season, and hopefully, the athletic director actually gives him the power that’s needed.
  18. At least you did it, would be to hard for someone like @BigTime1950
  19. I have a lot of good friends who work at Hardin Valley High and Hardin Valley Middle School. All I’m going to say is that, although I think it’s a great hire, they have to keep their players. They have three star-study football players on their Mac (middle school) team going to other schools this year, and I don’t think there’s a problem with that. If you want to go from a middle school to another high school where you’re not zoned because you think it’s better for you, that’s fine. It’s when you transfer during high school that I have a problem with, but either way, you've got to start keeping players. In Georgia thats almost impossible at this point, but I still think there’s hope in Tennessee, but I’m pretty sure he knows that, so I expect a lot of changes coming to Hardin Valley High School within the next few years. Just hopefully this time a Coach can stick around there for that long.
  20. Carson Newman alumni, played baseball and football after graduating from Carson Newman. He went to coach at his former high school, Troup High School in Georgia, in 2009, after that season, he went to be a coordinator at Woodstock High School in 2010 before becoming the head coach in 2015 through 2018. He was hired at Greenville High School in Georgia as the athletic director and football coach. He stayed there from 2019–21 before taking a coordinator job at Warner University in 2022 before leaving there and taking a job at Valdosta. In one year, he took Valdosta to the playoffs, where they lost to Powerhouse. Carrollton 28-45, Hardin Valley does not have it easy, especially in their region, with schools like Bearden, Maryville, Farragut, Cleveland, and Bradley Central, but that didn’t deter him at all. At least according to people I’ve talked to, he has built programs up from literally nothing, from coaching new high schools to old high schools to rich history high schools. He’s been everywhere in Georgia, I think this is a really good hire for Hardin Valley.
