  1. What an excellent venue for soccer. With a few thousand fans the stadium will be rocking. Let's make sure the Tennessee fans make the trip. See you there.
  2. There's a link to the article in the CHATTANOOGAN.COM on the main page but in case the article rolls off to the archives I'll list the rosters here: The Tennessee squads will be represented by players from seven different schools that all participated in this year's state tournaments while Georgia's rosters will also feature seven schools that made the state field. 3. CSAS 2 - 1 CCS BOYD 2 - 1 NOTRE DAME
  4. A similar thing happened last year when CSAS was undefeated and heavily favored and CCS beat them. Someone forgot to tell CSAS they weren't supposed to win. CSAS was definitely the better team tonight.
  5. If ND plays with their usual sweeper formation then Boyd may not get any quality shots. If the referees call it close then Boyd may not get any shots and ND wins at least 3-0. If the game is allowed to be "physical" and the ball bounces right then Boyd could win 5-0.
  6. Tuesday, 5/13 at CCS; probably at 7:00 P.M.
  7. Hmmm - don't see that many goals from either team. I see 1-0 McCallie or maybe a 0-0 tie. Hasn't McCallie only given up 3 goals all year?
  8. It only cost $20 more for a three man and you do have to request it. Sometimes, due to everyone else wanting to play at the same time, you won't get 3 even if requested. It would be funny, or sad, if TSSAA tried to mandate a 3-man for all games. The bodies just aren't there.
  9. If Cleveland plays a strong midfield they can shut Tackling down. Without Tackling the Ooltewah attack stalls. Cleveland has too many players who can score and should win by a couple of goals. If they don't shut Daniel down they will have a hard time winning and could lose by a goal or maybe earn a tie.
  10. Is Kevin Abel playing yet for ND?
  11. I agree - if you pull off a sweep then you should be ranked up there. Best of luck to the Iron Men of JPII.
  12. Why would JP II (or anyone) schedule 4 games in one week?
  13. I have to disagree with the majority of the posters. The game was exciting only if you're a defender who doesn't have to worry about being punished for blatant fouls. It would be fun to see these two teams play again and watch them actually have to play the ball first. Every time someone carryied the ball across midfield it was just a question of how many defenders were going to crash into him before he lost the ball. Both teams played not to lose which is understandable - just not very exciting.
  14. CCS should play it as a JV game. I think it's a district game so you still start and play it as any other varsity game. You call off the dogs after 6 or 7 to nil.
  15. When do ND and CCS play and where?
