  1. Perry Lyons new Rockvale Girls coach. https://www.tennessean.com/story/sports/high-school/2024/04/19/perry-lyons-tennessee-high-school-girls-basketball-coach-rockvale-hire-2024-tssaa-season/73262213007/
  2. I wouldn't be surprised if he returned to Rutherford County at some point. He also has a new home on Tims Ford Lake, so he might be happy in Tullahoma. There was some posts about the Coffee County coach leaving, and an opening at Oakland, so far those positions haven't opened up.
  3. I saw where Matthew Prince named at Huntland. I don't know where you're getting your information. There has been no posts in Murfreesboro, or in Tullahoma media , or on Twitter that he has accepted the job at Rockvale.
  4. I wouldn't be surprised if Tullahoma coach Chad Hibdon applies for the Rockvale job. He is from Murfreesboro, and had great success when he was at Blackman.
  5. Although the county is growing, not likely to happen anytime soon. City of Manchester proposed building there own high school several years ago, but the study never went very far. Warren County is in a similar situation with Coffee County, both have large enrollments. Cumberland County was once a large 6A school, when they built Stone Memorial, that split the enrollment, both schools are now 4A. The split has been more beneficial to Stone Memorial in football.
  6. Not too surprised by them going this direction. Coffee County was a young team last year, and there first string QB was out most of the season. They should be better next year, but unfortunately they are in a very tough region, and will probably be in this region for awhile.
  7. Interim coach Roger Haynes, named head coach. https://thunder1320.com/football-roger-haynes-tabbed-as-next-coffee-county-red-raider-head-football-coach/
  8. According to the linked article, 31 applied the and the field was narrowed to 6. Interviews were conducted this week, and they will be interviewed again before they make a decision. https://thunder1320.com/interviews-for-red-raider-football-head-coach-begin-this-week/
  9. Coffee County has had about 9 head coaches over the last 20 years or so. They were a young team this year, but in a very tough region, it will be difficult to even make the playoffs in the region.
  10. Congrats to Page. It came as no surprise to anyone who has followed Tullahoma this season about the outcome. When you make too many mistakes against a well coached team like Page, defense and special teams alone are not going to keep you in the game. Tullahoma's undersized offensive line, has struggled all season against bigger teams, and probably the worst QB Tullahoma has had in awhile, Page's defense easily shut them down.
  11. I don't know about the regulations, this is going on at several places across the state not only Page. Tullahoma's announcers aren't the only announcers that I have listened to that have complained about this. Often times, announcers have to broadcast from the rooftops, near PA speakers, so I can understand there point. Neither Tullahoma or Franklin County had no chance against Page, regardless of sound.
