Congrats to Clinton they outplayed McMinn in every way no excuses. Like I said before in the thread ideally you would like to be playing your best football come playoffs and McMinn wasn’t for sure, peaked mid season and went down from there. MCKees signing off

I don’t know where Clinton is on this but ideally you would like to be playing your best football this time of year. For some reason we are not. We seemed to have peaked mid season. I hope we can get some mojo back or it may be an early exit for us

To be honest with this lack of offense we have who knows. Little disappointed in it after WV. That’s not saying we beat ourselves either. WV outplayed us in every way just about and deserved the win against us, just disappointed in our stubbornness on keeping the defense honest and essentially helping out our running game

Also gonna say talent wise McMinn doesn’t have what Weat and Powell have. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if one of those two don’t win the state. I could try to make excuses McMinn is down two starters on the DL against WV but at the end of the day that’s football. Next man up. There are always guys out with injuries and such. I will say after our brouhaha with Powell I am pulling for West lol

Yeah we really got outplayed and out coached. We try to play in a box and never throw the football. Archaic offense and we don’t keep a defense honest so they just bring everybody up. Our DB’s play too far off the line of scrimmage also giving up an easy 8 yards. WV had never beaten MC but u just have to tip ur cap to them. Better game for them all around

Injuries have definitely hurt Rhea big time this year. McMinn lost a big interior defensive lineman before the Powell game and now has a defensive end having to sit out their next two games.

Howard may get Ooltewah. The Owls have packed it in (and I know Howard may have also) but 75-0!!! Wow. And I was surprised to see Tyner beat Rhea in all honesty. Especially since they had Ethan Davis back for that game

You should show a lot more concern for how high school kids get treated by adults. I wouldn’t want any McMinn adults spitting or cussing at Powell players. That’s crossing a line no matter the level of football but especially high school HTV aka Bill Mynatt
