Tuition is a problem for the basketball and baseball coaches to get transfers in. And no the parents are not paying tuition. More like paying rent to a realtor

Those schools you mentioned should play each other. Would love to see some of those matchups. I know y’all and Maryville have had regular season games. AC has played Betsy & G’Ville and will now play Alcoa. Would love for those to be televised so I can watch them

Nashville does have better privates than Knoxville no doubt. Any program tries to develop kids, but I would go as far as saying CPA doesn’t recruit. Maybe not “buy” as you termed it, but a private school by nature has to recruit. Ya’ll are in a situation that most public schools are not in so as far as scheduling goes I don’t blame public’s for not trying to play you all either. Take it as a compliment. However, let’s not go as far as to say you all are opposed to recruiting kids from anywhere. Sure y’all are able to be selective and have people approaching you instead of the alternative, but at the end of the day if I’m a fledgling program I’m not scheduling you guys for those reasons.

I’d tend to agree. I was just saying when naming a top 10 I would put Kingston in over AE since I think Kingston will beat them.

Success does attract talent no doubt. But let’s call it what it is for some programs. Alcoa & Maryville don’t have to recruit. They get players coming to them all are welcome and some leave once they realize they can’t cut it Places like Powell, Bearden, AC(North Bearden) have to seek out the players and actively recruit. Those two things are not the same. Especially when North Bearden is having “doctors” buy a truck for parents of a recruit from Seymour
