Woodley is having a great season. He is finally becoming more aggressive on the offensive end. Akard will be a big loss, but Sigmund will be back next year.

3 of those teams are in the same district! District tournament is going to be crazy!!! That AE and Fulton game had to be game of the year.

Maryville will be a problem. They have good size (6'8 and 6'9 down low). I think they are starting 4 sophomores. They'll be scary for the next 3 years.

Alcoa hosted East Hamilton and Anderson County. Alcoa beat both teams by 20+. Anderson County looked young. Might be missing a lot from football.

When you have a good program you don't have to recruit. They come knocking at your door. I call that good hospitality

Hello. Alcoa will be in 4A next classification change. I guess everyone will get what they want.

Most kids want a ring in high school. Where is the best place to go in East Tennessee to get one? Alcoa has no reason to recruit. They come on their own. Maryville was getting a lot of transfers in at one point. We get it’s easier because Alcoa is a smaller school. You can’t say they cheat cause of that. Don’t worry they’ll be moving up next go around.

Alcoa has a bunch of undisciplined athletes. Maryville came in very well prepared. That's the reason why Alcoa can never beat Maryville. You can blame everybody and everything but thats problem. Take that L, learn from it and move on. Good game and congrats to Maryville coming from an Alcoa fan.
