Coffee county destroyed Ooltewah. Ooltewah has reached a new low.

Where did you find out it was going to be a house cleaning ?

I wouldn’t blame them either. Ooltewah is 4-24 under goose. I hate it. I feel like he needs someone with an outside set of eyes to tell him what’s wrong. I have no invested interest in Ooltewah football but if I was asked I would give my opinion and help.

So how can a 1-10 Ooltewah make the playoffs last year ?

I felt like Ooltewah played hard last night against RC. They abandoned the run after their early score. QB has bad mechanics and never looks comfortable. Play calling doesn’t help a young QB either. Footwork isn’t being taught. On defense they have talent just can’t execute. Hitting wrong gaps as LBs. Don’t cover well at the safety spot. Decent CBs. Linebackers play good just if they get caught 1v1 in pass coverage it’s not good. They switched to 5 man front to help get a pass rush/ stuff the run. What do you all think ?

I won’t say names but there are many god football players that were zoned for ohs but didn’t go there. In all honesty I don’t blame them. In all honesty Ooltewah is a crap show of a football program right now. Since the pool stick incident they haven’t been the same in all their sports. I will be at the Rhea county and Ooltewah game I will be doing some scouting and feedback of some of the coaching and etc.

I don’t know either. I just know that ohs is god awful in football. They were 6A when I was there and were really good.

The coaching is some of the worst I have seen at the high school level.

For Rhea to lose they would have to too many turnovers and I don’t see that happening. Rhea will get a lead and sit on it and eat the clock.

I plan on being at the game. I think Rhea wins but Ooltewah will play close until Rhea pulls away. I have Rhea 38 OHS 24. If ohs can contain and play solid gap assignments on defense they could play them closer. OHS needs to get something going from the QB position. Rhea will sellout and stop the run on defense. Force OHS to make plays down field. If I’m OHS I’m dialing up plays to make life for my QB easy. Swing passes. Screens, draws, options. Then again from what I’ve seen do you trust the staff to make these adjustments?

Are they going to dump the coaching staff ?

Contender ? They have a record of 4-24 in the last 3 seasons. Something like that. I want to see them do better. I’m friends with people on that staff I do see some coaching flaws.

I agree 100% I feel like they have the pieces but they average like 45 yards passing a game. How does that happen? They have the talent. I feel like the schemes they run are really not the greatest. They commit the dumbest penalties

Ooltewah has looked terrible this year. I really hate it they used to be really good. I have watched a few games and lots of sill penalties and blown assignments. The passing game has been an issue for them. I really want them to get better I want to see what others think from the outside looking in. Thanks. I have broken down some plays were errors were made however I don’t think anyone would listen to me.
