Whatever “criteria” is stated to try to justify this ridiculous bracket is a waste of oxygen. It’s a cooked bracket designed to put Summit in the cons. Everyone who’s been around this stuff for a few years knows it’s true. Anybody with half a brain knows that the #1 team goes at the top and the #2 team goes at the bottom and they usually meet in the finals. Total b******t! Plain and simple.

One thing is for sure. If you’re Summit and you’re in the state duals, you catch Cleveland in the first round of a cooked bracket. It’s just how it is. Maybe one day the forces behind this dynamic will be toppled from their ivory tower. Sad for those kids . It’s bad enough to have the bracket stacked against you but the refs are making ridiculous dq’s in the cons that you shouldn’t have been in to start with. #1 team at the top of the bracket, #2 team at the bottom. This is not complicated.

It’s not who is deserving to be in the finals; it’s who is doing the bracketing.

We knew this two weeks ago. Summit has to wrestle through Cleveland to get to the finals. Always have, always will. Its politics plain and simple.

Is anyone really surprised by this?
