I guess I just can't see coaches doing that-however I could be wrong.
I think Coach Vice at Blackman in years past has went a couple of weeks during the early part of the season without a game to get some good quality practice time in. I know the kids love the games and so do I but I also love practice so we can work on area of need that we may have.
Not to speak for him but I think he means they don't list all their games. For instance Notre Dame only has 4 games listed on eurosportscoreboard which is rather frustrating.
This year White Co. is playing Warren, Lebanon, Cookeville, and Oakland from their district. It would be nice to see them back in playing Riverdale-Siegel-Blackman.
The problem is not Title 9 the problem is the major universities that refuse to put money in what they consider minor sports on the men's side. UT couldn't afford a soccer program/they could not afford to start another female sport?? Title 9 does its job it protects female sports and offer them they same opportunities that men have always gotten it is the universities that have turned it into a shambles. That is just my opinion of course.
The boys state also is a great day because all state finals are played on Saturday. This makes for a great day of soccer. On the girls side at least this year Tssaa in a money making scheme??? Moved one of the three to Friday.
GPS was nice enough to host all three last year why not this year?
Easy on the language there big G will block you.
My kids play at 10:00 and 10:30 if it is 5:00 or after I am in you????? I'll call when I find out what time they play.

Mjuhb,
Can't believe Coach Chadwick cancelled do you remember the game Think it was 2001 or 2002 that Warren Co and tullahoma played in a downpoor started raining about 10:am and never quit Tullahoma won 1-0?
I hope they do and they should. The point is how do we know if they were the weakest team. The only two games they played against D7 opponents they lost 0-4 and 0-6. I think in the situation akula describes it sounds as if a team that might not be so weak is playing the one seed which results in a tougher game than normal for the one seed. Say for instance if Blackman girls in D7 came in as the 8 seed and played Riverdale the one. While Riverdale would be favored it would be a whole lot closer and more intense than Riverdale vs Warren as is the case this year.

A weird thing happens in D7 boys. White Co does not play a district schedule(They usually schedule Warren Co as a friendly) and comes in as the last seed every year. While this does not make a difference in D7 as they are usually the weakest team-I feel it is unfair. So akula 21 I agree with your post completely. If you don't play your complete district schedule in my opinion you should not be allowed in the district tournament.
