My JV team played Franklin's JV team 3 years ago 9-0 at half-Their coach told them they could only score off crosses. They still attacked but only scored 2 more final 11-0. Franklin left knowing they were far superior my girls left thinking they had played a much better second half with their pride still in place. I walked over thanked the coach and knew he was a class act. Not saying Farragut (sp) is not but that was one way to handle such a situation.

You missed the p.s.-sighting to ignore me cause I don't know anything-mjuhb is Tullahoma playing with 4 in the back-thought I saw you mention it somewhere earlier just wanted to know if they stuck with it and how it was shaping up.

IMO district 7 has 3 teams better than any team in District 8 Cookeville who dominated Tullahoma in a scrimmage, Blackman who appears to have a top 10 team in the state, and Riverdale. P.S. Please disregard this post I don't know what I am talking about Blackman Siegel 1-1. Never would have thought that.

I believe it is a district policy to have an SRO officer at any game. You would rather they not be there? A player walks to the stands and shoots a bird-Cookeville students yelling at the keeper -A heated rivalry- Bring on the cops. Also at Blackman they play at the football stadium-students and fans are not right on the sidelines. So things can't get quite as heated IMO.

Little ahead of yourself there aren't you-Tullahoma must defeat Columbia first.

Ann Shelton is the best High School keeper I have seen Notre Dame also had a keeper the same time Ann was at Tullahoma that I felt was good.

If the problem is in basketball why not just address the problem were it lies. That is the problem with TSSAA they try to make a blanket policy instead of stepping up and looking at things on a case by case basis. ex. might be the Tullahoma boy last year (I believe he was an honor student) that didn't take enough classes even though he was scheduled to graduate on time. So what happens Tullahoma forfeits their entire district schedule(not only screwing them but the team that had to play them in the first round of the district tourney) or how about Riverdale taking a player that entered the game against White Co after the game was decided and forcing them to forfeit because he played 10min in a rec game.

What a crap plan by Tssaa. This will kill rural counties.

I wasn't sure about the red-but I think I did count 7 yellows issued to CBHS.

My thoughts on the game: 1. I'll never figure out how you can start the season on one roster and end up on another team. 2. Paul played a good game and he handled himself with class(by the way even though you have had harsh words for your ex coach he has always had positive things to say about you to me) 3. I wouldn't have held up so good under such critisism as the keeper faced. 4. The blackman parents and cookeville parents supported there teams as they should. 5. Number 10's actions were unexcusable. 6. Bill Vice-Grant Kelly are class acts Most importantly both teams gave me a great game to watch and one I told my students about today-that is what is all about. Just my view.

Not only are they young but at the middle school level they are stacked as well-Shelbyville is def a team on the rise in region 4
