  1. Agree with you about the fact that it's not an elim. game, and that's when you want your ace. However, the value of hosting that first region game is nothing to be sneezed at either. I was very confident Gray and Hill wouldn't be going for their respective teams, but I certainly would go with the "next best available" because that pitcher will then have several good recovery days before next start.
  2. By the way, congratulations to Cotham and MJ for a job well done. Good luck to the 9AAA representatives, MJ and Smyrna!
  3. Will it be Edgerton or Gray for Smyrna? Boston for MJ?
  4. Love tournament time! Some good games lined up. Anything can happen, but I'm thinking Dickson will make it back to face Clarksville. It will be interesting to see what happens.
  5. So, any result/details from the Munford, Hardin County tilt?
  6. Can Overton score enough runs to OVERcome the Franklin hitting blitzkrieg?
  7. Coach T scoreboard also shows: Springfield over Northwest 11-10 Clarksville over Dickson Co. 6-0
  8. Mt. Juliet defeats Beech 9-4 tonight. Beech and Wilson Central square off in the elimination game at 4:00 Tuesday, for the right to take on MJ at 7:00.
  9. No, that's their first loss. Now play Wilson Central on Tuesday, with the winner to face Mt Juliet.
  10. Were there games in this tourney Sunday? Anyone have scores, updates?
  11. Anyone have details about Gallatin's win over HHS? Final score? How did the Green Wave get the W?

  14. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> Yeah, that might be a problem. I also had to edit last night because they had MJ losing twice to Smyrna, when they actually split with Smyrna and lost twice to Beech.

  22. From the Scoreboard: Gallatin 7-2 over White House Mt. Juliet 3-1 over Hendersonville
  23. Great game by Gray! Key stat for him: 10 K's. Beech needed to be much more disciplined against the tough Bulldog fireballer. They ended up leaving 7 runners on base. Frey fought hard but dug too many holes on counts and then the Smyrna hitters did a fine job of making that pay off. Except for stellar plays by the Beech second baseman, first baseman, and rightfielder, Smyrna might have scored more runs early. Good battle by the Bucs. Congratulations to Smyrna.
  24. From the CoachT scoreboard: 13-6 MJ
