In a lot of publications or websites, you don't find much in the way of high school baseball stats. When I do find them, I must admit to casting somewhat of a skeptical eye. There's so much subjectivity to baseball scoring anyway, and MUCH of the time (not, all) those who score high school games are not highly trained and seem to struggle with being objective about plays made by these kids that they know and love (i.e. - ends up a "hit" when it should have been scored an "error" and so forth). I agree with the earlier posts that stated that the high school stats which really matter, ultimately, are wins and losses.
That said, I'm still a self-admitted "stats freak" and love to look at them!
