" that is your quote from above at an earlier post- i'm afraid you are confusing me with semantics-if the clock is stopped for whatever reason or if a second stop- watch is used to keep track of "stoppage of play" then there is "stoppage time " in high school or extra time no matter what you call it. But I do appreciate the confirmation that it is a five minute golden goal period.

what are the official rules for tournament overtimes? i know 2 ten minute halfs then if its still tied is it 2 five minute golden goal halves? is it 5 minutes? i heard madison got rooked last night the ref let the 5 minute golden goal go to 7 1/2 minutes which is where westview scored. so is it 5 minutes or 7 1/2 minutes?

u saw one half of the d-burg v westview game which was at the first of the season-did u see any of the fall travel games where d-burg played west tn select? i doubt it since u graduated in 03 what do u really know about the current d-burg team?. but u could brag on westview mids-thats what this is for-obviously u dont want to -why is that? i'll tell u why- duffy came to D-BURG to recruit #6 & #10 to play mid for his MARTIN select team and tried to get #28 & #21 also. he also named D-BURGS center mid#21 man of the match when d-burg played martin at the wolves weekend challenge in the fall-you just want to dis on other teams. u've been out of high school 2 years what college do u play for? "Why did you even say anything Wigs? Dont be so negative Just cause you have never heard of them doesnt mean anything. Dont post if you dont have anything worth saying." SOUNDS LIKE GOOD ADVICE

dyersburg has the strongest and deepest midfield in west tn-they are all true ball handlers who actually know how to place a ball not just kick it. #21 has the nicest touch of all of them (right or left footed) and can put a dangerous and strong kick on goal from anywhere on the field. #28 is very good as well, he's Brazilian, he has a way of getting himself in the right position to score. #15 and #10 complete the midfield and are very quick and smart wingers. #4, #9 and #6 also can step in anytime as skilled and deadly mids.

as i mentioned before, we all (including our coach) thought you guys were by far the dominant team and we were hoping to have to play cordova first in the semi's. ur #11 is awesome and one of the most valuable players on ur team and ur#8 has unbelievable throw-ins. i can honestly say we have one of the most balanced teams there is -almost all of our team stayed together for travel ball in the fall except for 2 who went to play with Martin on the West Tn select team. the travel team also gave us plenty of depth. i think tues. game will be a great match for 2 teams who have something to prove!

LOL- his english is actually more proper than anyone in THIS country and he's NOT from d-burg. i think its just that he's been playing too much poker with certain rogues who have corrupted his vocabulary. actually bartlett, no one up here thinks ur team is underrated (maybe cordova is overrated) 7 of d-burg's team came to millington to watch ur game and said that bartlett was by far the superior team-WE took notes and will be ready for tues-what do u know about us? but its all good-WE like to be underrated-keep thinking that way!!!

are you not confused between district and region ?what happened to district 16? there are only 2 teams in that district so they would auto-advance to region 8 semi's i think germantown and houston must be playing for district 15 title then they advance next week to play district 16 winners for the region 8 title. i just read ur first post ur saying there is no district 16 now? that is wierd. that does give ur region an advantage because u will have fresher legs than everybody else when it comes to sectionals.

dyersburg beat Northside tonight 3-1, so d-burg will host bartlett? tuesday for semi's of the region.

rumor is he got a yellow card at the westview game for arguing w/the ref then after he got the yellow he had some more choice words for the ref which would have gotten the team a red but leonardi sent him to the showers to appease the ref and avoid the red. i hope he hasn't quit- he's a talented player-leo did what was right for the team to avoid the red-#3 take your medicine but dont quit!!

jcm's out-they lost 4-1 to northside last night-dont ask me how-their goalie bryon patrick must not have been there for them to lose that bad to northside-or else he had the worst night of his whole career. so northside and d-burg advance to regionals. when will we know the seeding between cordova and bartlett?

i know a player doesn't make the team-but losing him is a BIG deal-next to nick glover he is one of their mvp's. he scored both of the goals against d-burg in the semi's of the BOW. stjohndoe-are you there man? what happened?

true-but d-burg sat 7 starters a major part of each half with bolton because they were being "punished" for going on spring break and missing games. has bartlett played bolton? i haven't seen a score if u have. all lefty's saying is that d-burg shouldn't be underestimated. they dont have the history that bartlett or cordova have but hey u only tied jcm-looks like d-burg and bartlett aren't that different this year. nobody's argueing ur past record-lets just see what happens in regionals
