  1. How is that any less of a stereotype than saying hispanics wear tiny shin guards or "argue too much".
  2. I would go with a central win.
  3. I didn't know tyner even had a team this year. Are they any better than the team they had last year?
  4. I heard that hixson pretty much beat CSAS across the board in men's, although the girls team did well. Didnn't see any of the games, comments?
  5. Yes Blur, my favorite poster, Farragut lost to Ga'.s number 2 rated team in the largest classification in a Ga. in a Tournament where Farragut played 3 games in 2 days against all fresh Ga teams. ANd they might have a tough time this weekend against some good teams because they have 3 starters suspended for discipline for a week, so the question should be restated Can Farragut be beat at the end of the year come tournament time? The answer is NO Just trying to get my facts straight, thanks. Don't really care if farragut wins or loses any games. and doesn't UT have one of the top college-level club teams in the nation?
  6. I was just basing my opinion on having watched them play several games. I didn't see the ND-Faragut game, so I wouldn't know, I was just basing my opinion on the fact that they looked very good at the games I did see (ND- Grace and a scrimmage). I'm just a local chattanooga area player and have no connection with this team at all, I just thought they looked good. Judging just from the D2 competition I've seen around town (can't really speak for west TN, except for what I saw last year), I feel they stand a chance to do well. As to whether or not they make it to state, I have no clue, it's too early in the seaon to tell.
  7. The USA team basically got the game handed to them from what I saw. Looked like a fairly poor performance by us. I have to admit that mexico looks to be a very skilled team, and they definitely controlled the game, but we certainly could have done better. Any thoughts on how we'll do in birmingham next week without Beasley?
  8. I'm not sure about everyone else, but I feel that Notre Dame has the potential this year to be a dominant force in every game they play. I've seen them on several occasions and I really feel that they have what it takes to make it big this year, especially with that monster in the goal.
  9. Are there going to be any standouts from the chattanooga area this year?

    Fields

Knox Webb definitely has the best high school soccer field I have seen. It's up there on one of the best fields I've ever played on.
  11. I find that refs in highschool soccer more so than any other level are afraid of calling fouls. Whether it's from inexperience or lack of confidence, I find that this single recurring problem is more prominent than any other. Especially in the eighteen, it's almost as if they're afraid to call for a penalty kick for some reason.

    Cleveland

I remember when we played them that they had a few good quality players in the field. Their keeper was a very skilled one. They had a really quick guy in the midfield and one fast defender that kept going up on offense. I think they could definitely work more as a team, if they got that done I see no reason that they shouldn't do well.
