Ever since Bruce Lussier has left OR for Father Ryan, i have read nothing but venomous remarks towards him.During this "OR selection" process most of u have also said disrespectful thing towards Ron Gray as well. I have played for both of these guys during my high school career and they are not only great coaches but great teachers as well. I think that all you guys out there are just jealous of the success that they have had with Gray running a great offensive game plan and Bruce calling the defense as he was also the defensive coordinator. this thread is for all you guys to fess up about why u hate these two excellent coaches so SPILL OUT YOUR HATRED! holla

The Oak Ridge 1991 state championship team with likes of Eric Underwood at qb, Shawn Summers at tb, Antione Thirft and Curtis Booker at wr, and a strong aggressive defense lead by Ron Black. Maryville seems to be one of the most dominate teams in recent years. I know this as we have scrimmaged them several times in the last couple of years. I was wondering why Maryville won't play Oak Ridge during the regular season. I think that maryville is afraid to get beat by the "Wildcat Nation" thus blemishing their annual undefeated state title run. admit it maryville: YOU ARE SCARED OF THE WILDCATS IN THE REGULAR SEASON.

I really wish we had put OR on our schedule before this, but it is good to see it will finally happen. This was an automatic playoff game back in day, nice to see the old rivaries renewed, last two years it was Rhea Co. Wish we could get some of the other top programs to meet. man ya'll needs to just shut up and support whoever gets the job. Ron deserves the job, he is a good coach and teacher who CAN MOTIVATE PEOPLE WHO PLAY FOR HIM. If Stevens gets the job then he deserves it too seeing as how he is an alumni and stilll lives in Da Ridge. I dont know him but after playing with his younger brother jared, He has the credentials to do well, just as much as gray does.
