Balla4, I would have to say that I also disagree. But let me ask all of you something... How can Toro be a "Head case" if he is #1 in his junior class with a 4.7 GPA, he is bi-lingual (and for those of you that do not understand that terminology, it means that this head case speaks two languages). Basketball wise, he averages 12 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds... now give me the definition of Head case!!! As for the standings top 5: 1. Maryville 2. Bearden 3. Farragut 4. William Blount 5. What is up with the Heritage Mountaineers? New coach, talented players, dedication, new work ethic, but the same record!! Dang, what is up!?! How come they can't even stay in a game for the first quarter!? Someone let me know! Where is Coach Wilson!?!?!?!?

Smalltown, I would have to say that I agree with you. Those boys needed someone to help them form a team, and Coach Rines and Coach Wilson will definitely do that. I must say that East Tennessee is going to have some good high school basketball this season!!! Good Luck Mountaineers!!!!

KNOKNO, what do you know about these programs, especially the one at Heritage. Now, I will admit that their past history has been horrendous, but they do have new coaches. And I must say they are two incredible coaches. Coach Rines comes from West High, where he turned the girls program around and Coach Wilson had a very successful career as head coach of the Heritage girls. As for saying that they are the same players, I would definitely disagree. Physically there might be 3 returners, and even those players have accepted new roles on their squad. I know this because I have spoken with the coaches and I have spoken with the players... they are a young team, so in response to your comment about "same players, same results," I would have to call you out on that one!!!! These boys are preparing themselves for a season that will turn heads, even yours!!!!
