ok, i was watching the game of OS and RCHS. First, the pitcher had no reason at all to take a swing at the rchs coach. i played for kingston a few years ago and i have played ball my whole life and i agree 100 % with the idea that a kid never swings at an adult!!! if that would have been me, then my mom and dad would have killed me! the rchs pitch did the right thing by not going after headden. but what more can you expect from an oliver springs player? i mean their coach obviously doesn't care what his players do. i still have my kingston pride and i haven't played there in almost 10 years.

So, since Midway is depending on a FRESHMAN pitcher to pull them through the season, how will they hold up to Kingston? They were scrimmaged a couple weeks ago and were beat by them, but how will they do now that the season is here? Considering RCHS assistant principle is their assistant coach....

Ok, Scott County played Kingston on Tuesday night and those girls really tried! I mean the coach is an awesome guy and is very patient with the girls. I think the girls would do good if they had someone (another high school student) who knows what they are doing and will take the time to help them. They have got talent, but they don't use it to their best ability. Good Luck to all the girls and I would be more than happy on like a Saturday get the team together and help them as much as I can. Who will be coaching softball at the new school in Crossville?

Have there been any assistants hired at Stone or Crossville Highschool yet for football???

Living in this area and watching what goes on why would you want the assistants from Crossville to be on your staff if you were one of the new head coaches. I feel like new faces and new ideals need to be brought into programs. I also dont see principles pushing old assistants on the 2 new coaches. Let the coaches decide who they want

I think Vanwinkle is to old to take a struggling program that is at the bottom and build it back up. I still say it will take a young enthusastic coach with new ideals and who will not leave or quit if it takes a while to rebuild. I just want to see the program get some new life!! GO JETS

I hope the people involved with the hiring think about hiring a young enthusiastic coach someone who will get out in the halls at the school and recruit players to play football. There are way to many kids at Crossville that dont play any sports at all. I would like to see them hire new blood into the program it does not have to be someone with head coaching experience just someone who knows the game and is willing to work hard to bring this program back to the top

I have heard that a Kingston Assistant coach was interested in the job? That might be what we need as a jet fan! Kingston does play in one of the toughest regions around if not the toughest in the state. They play teams like Austin East,Fulton, Catholic, Livingston, Anderson County, and Scott. Got to know how to coach when you play with these big boys.

I was thinking of someone in Roane County would be good for the job?

Stone classification will start out as 4A and could move to 5A

The nickname for Stone will be panthers and colors will be black and gold
