Maybe the coach wanted a less experienced boy to get some innings in a high profile game. And to be totally honest his number 2,3 and 4 aren't really push over pitchers. You dont want to go to the state with only two pitchers do you ?

Your right it does sound that way. But out of this district how many teams can say they have been in the top 2 for the last SIX years.

Well curtisj that sounds promising for R.B. next year, with senior Beau Geren behind the plate, and 3 senior pitchers and with all them pups that got so much playing time this year, It may be hard for people to look over R.B.

I believe you are right in 04 R.B. only had 3 seniors but in 03 I recall them having 5 seniors. And on another note with those teams with 7 or 10 seniors which I would assume thier all on the field unless they are a pitcher only. How do think they are going to look next year? And as for R.B. 2000,2001,2002,2003,District Runner- Up. 2004 District Champ, 2005 Runner- Up again. We'll wait to see what happens next year. I believe those years are accurate.

I totally disagree that coach reece would throw a game intintionally. I would like to think that he had done all he could do 3 previous times this year and for what ever reasons the boys just never came together fielding and batting. They had accomplished what nobody in the Chatt area thought they could do. ( Get through district ). So why not make some small changes and see if anything clicks. Well I guess if he had not made any changes and R.B. still lost you all could be here second guessing him by not making any changes. Let me move on now, You all talk about R.B. players problems of bickering or whatever you call it. Well lets move on, The Owls and Lions are moving forward to represent this area at regions. Last year the Lions lost in regions but they very much supported the Trojans. Wanting the very best for them. What I'm saying is this don't need to be a battle between the Owls and Lions for a while, the way the brackets are done there can be 2 teams from the same district in Memphis. I will love it for the Owls if they make it to state they deserve it very much but it would be great for the Chatt area if both teams could advance. So why don't we stop putting R.B. down so much and try to help them build a little confidence. GOOD LUCK TO ALL

2002 was a complete different team, for both Red Bank and The Owls, so it is uncomparable to this years 2005 team. I bet The Owls will be surprised with what's going to be going on at the game tonight.

The tourney last year was at central.

They may not be the forth best team but they ended soddy's season tonite.
