only game I saw GV play in this year was the Carthage game, and man did they look horrible! TC has just got too many weapons, why else do you think TC hasn't lost a reg. season game to GV since 1987 if they did combine schools, I think Smith Country would compete well in 3a...I think they would be on the verge of 4a though right?

he's just mad cuz his precious SP wont even get the chance to prove themselves against TC b/c FCS will take them out friday night.

but I can see where he is coming from, 1-9 teams, and 2-8 teams don't deserve to be there IMO, but as we saw last night, some of those teams are very good.

WHy...b/c G-ville took it to SP last year. Ever since Gordonsville and SP have played each other, havent the teams alternated wins? (i.e. 2001-SP wins, 2002-G-ville wins, 2003-SP wins, 2004-Gordonsville wins, 2005-probably won't play each other

seems very accurate...although I would have Hampton geting to the semis to face TC, and then getting whipped! Also I would have SP beating FC in the 2nd round. ANd no way in heck I would have Columbia Academy getting to the quarters. Other than that...looks good.

I don't even think SP should have played Cloudland in the semis that year...SP beat a really good Godonsville team in the Quarters, but Gordonsville played like crap, Hampton is this years Cloudland 3 years ago...and they will see what speed does to size...it kills!

key word there is used to have, who cares what they had in the past, remember T.C. Payne? He was one hack of a QB and about the size of Daunte Culpepper, T.T. Harper was one fast back, and a great athlete, but he does not play for them anymore. Any why are they supposed to be a 3A school, they have a 1A enrollment.

Hampton will make it to the Semis just like Cloudland did a couple years back, by beating no body, and when the big boys of cloudland discovered speed, it resulted in a total embarrasment of the state championship game...final score like 63-25 maybe? Anywho, yes hampton will make it to the semis to face TC or SP, more than likely TC, and then TC will show Hampton what "REAL" 1A football is!

this surprised me alot, when I heard about this hapopeneing, they said he was out for the year...oh well, I hope it's a good game, no one likes to see a blowout.

hmmm....like the way they were pumped up the last time they were in the playoffs? heck, they were just happy to be in the playoffs then. Im sure things have changed b/c they arent an embarrasing 1-9 like last time. I still say Gordonsvile wins this one, but will be closer than people think.

Ok, they may not play the toughest schedule in the world, but they beat EVERYONE convincingly(sp?). I think the smallest margin victory was about 21 points maybe?? someone wanna check that for me, and ofcourse their largest margin of victory being 91 points, but we wont go there. So yeah, just wait til your team plays them, and watch TC reagian their record of most points scored in a state championship game.
