Have you seen Chris Donald? He could be the most talented player in the state. 11th rated player in the nation. He will be suiting up for Notre Dame or the Vols in the fall. I think the finalist are considered the best three football players in their position. Donald has been nominated as a lineman (LB). He is one of the best players in the state. Yes, he was hurt but even hurt he was better than 90% of the players in the state at the position. Plus, he appears to be a great kid who does the job in the classroom as well. I hope he goes to TN. they need some guys who stay out of trouble.....

I can assure you that they are NOT too many CamdenLion people who are Bruceton fans. You should know this.... Are there many Huntland fans who actually want to see Moore County football back??? NO.....

Bruceton seem to take Springer out of the game by stopping the option. Then, the CB's from Bruceton took the deep threat away from Valentine. That forced them to run between the tackles with Yancey and they wasnt going to win that battle. That was Bruceton's strength.

After 10 games, Jordan led the state. MArco took after after last weeks playoff game. Jordan wil have a big impact as he could be a Division 1 recruit. He is a warrior on defense at 6' 210 lbs he excels at SS and WLB. He will be a defensive player in college. Will Marco be a D1 recruit?

Im pulling for the REBS. But, JCS is the one team that matches up well against then. JCS has tons of team speed and are well coached. JCS is balanced as McKenize is. This will be a great game. Ill take McKenzie by a TD. But, Rebels - DONT OVERLOOK JCS or you will get bit in the butt.

Will Arlington be able to compete with the 5A teams in Shelby County? Germantown, Bolton, Collierville, Houston, Cordova, Ridgeway, etc..........

Joe Longmire was good.Longire didnt hardly run the ball in the second 1/2 of most of his teams games. He was the Best Offensive Player in the Clinic Bowl (1995) -vs- BGA Heck all of those guys were good. But - Patrick Willis - Bruceton Central 1999-2002 had some career. He was a Mr. Football Finalist on offense and Defense. He won Mr. Football on defense. He should have won both. He plays at OleMiss where he is a finalist for the Butkis Award and Lombardi Award. Some polls show him as the best MLB in the country and a first round draft pick. ESPN the magazine wrote an article about him. Not bad for a kid from Bruceton....... What about Al Wilson? He was a player. National Champion at UT and STUD in the NFL.

dont kid yourself Butchie - Essenberg and Shaw can run with anyone in Class A around here. They are solid up front and #40 (LB) is a hustler. Reminds me of McKenzie big LB but faster. TCA/Lake County should be a good game. You guys have your hands full with JCS. They are the one team around here that matches up with you guys. They are balanced as well and have a lot of speed as well. This should be a classic. GO REBS!!!!! JCS wont be intimated. They played some real good non-region games (South Side and DCA) So, a big game atmosphere wont intimidate them. I hope you guys win and keep winning. Its time for another gold ball in Carroll County. JCS handed it to you last year. Hopefully, that left a bad taste in the mouths of the returning players and they will be looking for a little payback. Plus, I want to see a Lake Co/Rebel re-match. Everytime they lose a couple of their fan s have an excuse or call it a fluke. Maybe another butt-kicking could be in order. Didnt you guys beat them 40's - 20's????? I know they had some sort of excuse. Someone was hurt, too cold, too hot, river was up, rained, grass to tall. GO REBS!!!

You guys were the 4th place team in the region. BOTTOM LINE!!! Deal with it!!! Bruceton didnt get the job done against TCA whick looked to me to be a pretty good football team. JCS barely beat Trinity and JCS blew out Union City so obviously TCA has a quality team. A team that is over-rated. You guys obviously put together a good game and beat a solid team. Congrats to your players and coaches. That was a BIG win. But, you need to watch your mouth with these "fluke" statements. I am pulling for Lake County.... I want Region 7A to get it done. But, lay off the fluke comments. If thats the case, the you guys beating Fayette could be a fluke. I didnt say that but thats seems to be the game you NOT the team and coaches like to play. I hope your players dont read and buy into the fluke crud you put on here. Kids strap it up!!!

Chad Jordan - West Tennessee's leading rusher as a junior will be back from Bruceton. Also, his fullback Alex Matlock will be back too. He isa beast @ 6'5 - 255 - Plus, he led West Tennessee in tackles behind LOS. The Tigers look to be loaded for BEAR next year.... Can you say, "Tiger Pride" baby? GO BLUE!!!

Go Lake County........ TCA is solid with speed everywhere. Essenberg and Shaw are both speedsters who are FOOTBALL players as well. You will have your hands full Falcons but make 7A proud. The TIGERS sure wanted another opportunity to beat you but that wasnt in the "football gods" So, GO LAKE CO....... TCA's LB #40 is a player. You better account for him on the midline or he might knock Springer OUT>>>>>

You would think since he is the state's leading ball carrier he would be Mr. Football but that is not always the case. Jordan is only a junior.

What bad calls? Bruceton Game? 1.) The 4th and short on your own 30 in which three Bruceton players hit Springer behind the line off scrimmage. NOT EVEN CLOSE! 2.) The 2 point conversion? The referee had the best view and he said short. 3.) The on-side attempt? By rule, the ball must travel 10 yards before it can be touched by the kicking team. The ball hit a Lake County player three yards before. An obvious violation. Rain? Bruceton played in the same weather as everyone else in West Tennessee. That is partof the game.

You are so right..... Region 8-1A has dominated over the past several years. This goes back to when Bruceton dominated everyone and USJ dominated Bruceton. JCS, Fayette, and TCA all have solid teams and we will have our hands full in all of our first round games except the REBS. JCS spanked McKenzie last year and Fayette has beaten Lake Co. the last two years soundly. Fayette played UC last year to a 6-0 loss and UC went to the Blue Cross Bowl. Fayette didnt lose anything and look to make a run this year. I dont think there is much difference between Fayette, JCS, and, TCA JCS beat TCA 28-25 (I think) Fayette beat JCS 17-14 JCS got alot of bad press early but their only 3 losses were to Fayette, DCA, and Jackson South Side. Id love to see 7-1A find a way to get to the semis. The semi-final game will be hosted by the Region7/8 team this year. Last year, Union City had to go to Jo Burns. They get to come to us this year. Jo Burns or Cascade....
