The Mascot was selected in 1962 when Miss Nettie Stephens Petitioned Senator Albert Gore Senior about getting a mascot for the school. Gore sent the Jet and the rest as they say is history!!! haha

Alright this time Im going for something a little off the wall: What is the name of the cheerleader for which the Official CCHS mascot "The Miss Nettie" is named?? There something that the average Jet Football fan might not know!!!

Ok I'll try and do better with this one: This former CCHS wide reciever recently spent some time with the Tennessee Titan's practice squad, and is now back in town helping out with this years Jet recieving corps. Who am I talking about??

Current CCHS head football coach Mark Wattenbarger has seen some success in his time with the school, but there's one team that seams to have coach watt's #. Watt is 1-7 against this school since his arival!! Which school am I talking about???

Here In CC we've got Taylor Ports a soccer player who can absolutely bust a football. He's got plenty of distance, acuracy is his oly question mark!!

Hint was anything but awesome this week in the Frotier Womens Open. Sara finished 30th and she was +22. So she didn't play horribly, but I had expected better. The tourney champ was Courtney Wood a Pro out of the Nashville area

Hey wouldntyouliketoknow I don't have any problem with your constructive criticism of the CCHS coaching staff. I mean, Where would sports be without somebody dogin the coach?? It's a fans job to be critcal it's what they do!! Nothin personal to the coaches or to the team. Bottom line is I understand you wouldntyouliketoknow.

Coach Watt's a nice guy who loves what he does and for the most part he does it well. However, he's a very old fashioned football coach "The Old Ball Coach" so to speak. A rarity of the game--- a young guy who does things the way he's always done them.Anybody who really gets to know coach and see him in action has to like the way the man runs a football team. Every kid on the team has the utmost respect for coach Watt and he should be comended for his tough as nails my way or the highway attitude!!! thumb

White Co. isn't even close to even with the the teams in their region!!! White co will finish low if not dead last in this region this season! Here in CC we play WC on a yearly basis, and we dominate them every year. white County is a basketball school not a football school---Bottom Line!

Not yet she's in town july 25th for the women's open, that's when I'll do my scouting.

Pancake will never use her talent! she doesn't love the game of golf. Once Brooke graduates from high school, we'll probably never hear about her as a golfer again! thumb

The only people that like your coach are from Rhea County. Nobody likes this guy he's an arrogant jerk, and it was great watching his b-ball team flop this season. A couple of good players can make nebody look like a good coach!! Coach Crowder isn't all he's cracked up to be!!!

I wish the loss to Warren or Coffey would come!! then you'd see what that would do to the highly touted Cavs.

The interesting thing about high school football is that it only takes one game to make our top heavy region less top heavy. For instance if the big bad CHS Cavaliers show up one friday night thinking all they have to do is show up and they lose to maybe Warren County or Cumberland County everything changes in a hurry. It only takes one bad game to knock the top out of the top heavy region 3-5a thumb
