  1. By the way Morristown East played 14 kids in that game and had 3 girls in double digits 2 within a bucket of a double and 9 in the score box
  2. Morristown East....for my 2 cents...gave Bradley central a run at BC before lets say foul trouble up by 12 before the tide turned; Beat Science hill last year with same personel ; beat a pretty good South Greene team tues night by 27
  3. Jade is a junior guard strong shooter/penetrator/distributor and Leslie is a senior forward strong attack to basket good basketball build. While we are at it Gabby Gilmore senior(forward) Kendi King senior(guard)
  4. East is looking better with each outting......Keep hungry and working hard ladies it is showing in your game. We had 9 girls score and everyone saw court time in last nights test against a good S. Greene.
  5. Jade Hale and Leslie Berquist Morristown East
  6. How did everyone fare in the HOF game last night?
  7. Most people can't afford to transfer their child to another school whether it be across town, to another district or what ever. The number of kids that will be actually affected as opposed to how many play across the state seems not worth the legislation of it(also the kids moving out of state for this very reason is a mute subject). If parents, (whom should) have the final say in what is best for their child, where he/she goes to school (for what ever reason) why is there question? If the move gives the child a better opportunity to succeed then that should be it. Mom, Dad and child decide(?), can make it happen(?), not breaking any laws(?)period end of dilemma. To draw my 2 cents to conclusion, coach the kids that want to be there, wish the ones that feel somewhere else suits them better farewell and good luck. Let parents choose whats best for their child and let government at what ever level stay out of personal lives and decisions. "That's all I have to say about that"(Forest Gump)
  8. Price and Maddox played fall ball last year for me.....I dont know why I thought that they were seniors last year.........
  9. You are right.......AAU/Fall ball/School all runniing together How is the rest of the pack runnin
  10. Jefferson took a hit losing Huff,Kyle and Miller Cherokee lost Price and Ryans Seymour lost Brown and a couple more West lost Smith and Wild Not sure about the rest....I know Sevierville still has Pickle. Still alot of quality players left! It should be interesting (as always)
  11. 1. Morristown East 2. Sevierville 3. Cherokee 4/5/6. Jefferson 4/5/6. Morristown West 4/5/6. Seymour. 7. Cocke 8. South Doyle Just taking guess as to who has what coming back......

  18. ok what all is on tap for tonight? East is hosting Jefferson
  19. ok what is the scoop from last night around the IMAC?....East played hard against the Lady Red but foul trouble and turn overs took their toll. Samantha (my kid) had 5 -3's and a great defensive effort in the game. Lady Red played a hard fought game with "plenty of heart" good job Shannon. Great match-up.
  20. big week....East has S. Doyle,Cocke and West this week
  21. ok West is real good obviously you've heard the rumours. Have you seen Greeneville this year? Good bunch of girls but get Wests attention Jefferson has been inconsistent for a couple of years and with Kyle being hurt is a big lick on them. Seymour is getting their feet wet in the new conference and doing well. The talent is there. This is the first year in countless that East actually has a guard let alone a choice and how is constant rotation and averaging 11 players seeing the floor pretending to play a bunch? Cocke county cant shoot???ever???If they get Pruitt and Sprouse to control the paint Depew can shoot but it is hard to do it all. No just because Nicole graduated and Greeneville is not in the IMAC does not make it down. DB only beat Cocke by I think 2, Seymour and Heritage was a 6 point game I believe. Other than the fact that West is better than any team has been in this area (yes and that includes the Nicole era at Greeneville)at least in my memory doesnt gauge the strength of the rest of the conference.
  22. well i can tell you one thing panther, you know who has cirlcled their game with your seymour team so you will get a good effort from them i think. good luck!! I think all the IMAC games are circled for everybody...it will be anything but boring this year....what a group of teams that have multiple weapons. Good luck and God bless.
