Yes, I am not taking away the fact that they hit the ball hard off Beckman. But all I was saying was that was what the coach thought would help us win. I never said that it was the greatest move but I am not going to sit here on the internet and bad mouth our coach. What is done is done lets just finish the game.

Well our coach made the decision to start Beckman and it is his choice who to pitch and who not to. I feel like the move to pitch Beckman over Lamm was the right move if that is what he felt like would put us in the best position to win.

Loretto's field should be in pretty good condition for today's big district match between Loretto and Page. Coach Lamm does alot of work to the field to make it playable so I think that he will spend most of the day today working on it to make it able to be played on.

The very good Franklin County team that won a total of 7 games ended up winning the tourney. They beat Lawrence Co. in the finals.

Loretto and Columbia Academy scrimmaged Tuesday for eight innings. Columbia Academy won the scrimmage 5-3 but Loretto didnt play bad at all. They were changing people in and out every inning so it was real hard to get accustomed to each other out there.

Sorry Smokin I didn't mean to get no attitude with you on here. All I was trying to do is to make a point. Yes, we have some very talented underclassmen. As of right now I don't feel like any starting jobs have been won because there hasnt been enough pretty days to get out and have a real practice. Without no real practice you can not tell how all the players are looking at this stage in the season. So, basically everyone is fighting to earn jobs but I have the feeling that they will be atleast 7 or 8 seniors on the field almost every game. Sorry if I had gotten an attitude with you.

Alright listen Smokin, all I was saying that alot of things can happen to a line-up through the season. Yes, I am a senior and yes I am working towards a starting position but alot of things can change as the season rolls along. Now Jacketpride, I have to say that I disagree with you on the fact that 11 seniors will cause problems. I feel like if there are 11 seniors playing their hearts out then the team will benefit from it. I also feel like 11 leaders is 11 times better than zero leaders at all.

I am pretty sure that 9 seniors will start most of the time but this could change as the season goes on.

Alright, to set the record straight there is no obession with Giles Co. baseball what so ever. If I have ever shown any obession it is for their basketball team and then it wasnt obession, it was more of me liking the style of basketball they play. Yes, you are right Loretto and Giles are rivals when it comes to baseball and there wont be no love lost between us this year. I mean I dont think that there is one player on the other side that likes the other team. Giles thinks that they are going to be the best and we feel like that we can contend for the district crown this year with the team that we have. So you know just by that, that we wont be liking each other when the season comes along. I hope that this clears up everything for you and sorry to confuse you.

Yes, the Loretto Preseason tourney is still on for next weekend. As for the teams that are playing in it and the timest that they will be playing, I dont know. I hope this tourney and the St. Patricks Day will be a huge success like always.

Well I will have to start out by saying that Tyler Smith is the greatest player I have ever got the chance to watch. Yeah, maybe he does not have the prettiest 10-15ft jumper around but what does that matter when he is putting up numbers like 15 to 20 points almost every night that he plays. The only way that most teams stop this kid is by fouling the heck out of him. The first time he lit up Loretto at Giles Co. for like 35 points and most of the points came from 3 pointers. So the kid does have the talent to shoot, he has his nights just like everyone else. So dont get on here saying that this kid doesnt have a shot because me he does. Like Petey47 said I am from Loretto also and I have made most of the trips to Giles Co. with him and from what I have saw....Tyler could be one the greatest Sophmores in the state. Tyler keep up the hard work and dont let these haters put you down!!!!

Pageman, Loretto won the game with pretty much ease. There was time that C-wood seemed to make a push but Loretto just seem to pull back ahead. I would also like to thank all four of the seniors of Loretto for giving me a student, fan, and also friend four great years of basketball.

Alright I dont know why you are jumping to conclusions that Loretto is going to be dead last in the district this year, hercules. Last time I checked the season hasnt even started yet. Us at Loretto know that we wont be last in the distrist and that is all that matters. Cause when it is all said and done and the smoke has cleared everyone that has been hating on us and saying that we will be dead last, WILL BE WRONG!!!!!!!! I also dont see how you get that Giles Co. will be terrible this year in the district. I think that you need to stay off the baseball boards untill you actually know what baseball is and what makes a good team.

Loretto Mustangs have three scrimmage games comming up in the next two weeks. They play at Summertown on Friday the 21st. Then they play Lawrence Co at Loretto Monday the 24th and then Friday the 28th they will travel to Columbia Academy to play CA. All three of these scrimmages should tell the Mustnags what type of team they should have this year.

Alright maybe my predictions were a little bais but look I get tired of people thinking that we will be a pushover year and year out. I am truely serious when I say that if teams come in to games with us this year and over look us then they will probably going to get beat. Look Ryan, I seriously think that Giles Co. will win district but I wouldnt be a true player of Loretto if I didn't say that we was going to win district now would I? I am just setting our goals high so that way we will have to work that much harder to reach them. I really think that we will have the closest district in 2A this year. Marshall Co.- Well they are always able to reload but I don't see them winning the district this year. Lykens is a heck of a pitcher but come tourney time they will have to more than one player to win it. Lewis Co.- They could be the suprise team this year. They always seem to come up with a big win here and there to throw the district standings all out of shape. Maybe this year will be their year with the new coach but alot of times it takes more than one year for a new coach and a team to start winning. Page- From what I hear is that they lost a lot of their players from last year and will have a rebuilding year. But they could come out have another great year like last season. I just don't see them repeating this year. Fairveiw- Fairveiw didn't lose much at all last year to graduation. They still have their two top players from the team last year. They could very well contend for the district. Giles Co. - They didn't lose much at all either. They did how ever lose their ace Derek Holt to graduation. Everyone is saying they will be the heavy favorite to win it all in this district but you don't need to count your chickens before they hatch. I mean, to many people are saying that they will win it and the season hasn't even started yet. Don't get me wrong, they will be the team to beat going into the season and they could possibly win it all but I just don't see it happening. Loretto - Maybe I am just bais towards the Mustangs but they do have the biggest senior class in the district. They return their main pitchers from last year in Lamm, Beckman, and Johnson. They will have depth comming off the bench in all positions. This could mean alot of trouble for the rest of the district. This is the order of the finish of the district in my eyes. I dont attend Giles County, but the word that i have heard about Tyler Smith going to Oak Hill is that he is staying at Giles Co. for his junior year then transfer to Oak Hill his senior year.
