Just sharing the info with everybody and in Knoxville we have heard Hamilton has 4 coaches in mind and I'm pretty sure two of them are UAB's (Anderson) and Winthrop's (Marshall) but not to sure on the other two. I think to fire Buzz we have to go after bigger name coaches and proven coaches, b/c we dont know if these guys can recruit SEC caliber players or not. The other word is Lutz from Charlotte and he is definitely and X's and O's type coach but not the recruiter right now to make the jump to the SEC. JMO. But Catfish all I was doing was just putting out there what was said and wrote. On all the talk shows up here on WNOX it was all about Bobby Knight, I think its good that we will show that we are going after top tier coaches. Just don't wanna go through another mid-major coach. thumb

If Tennessee releases Tyler he doesnt have to sit out a year and can resign this year, but if they do not release him he could go and play prep school and be re-recruited next year and resign after that year. It's all on what TN wants to do though.

It is a shame that Buzz was fired. I was one of the big Buzz supporters. But a little after word got out. An asst. coach called the news sentinel to see if the rumor was true and said his boss was interested. So who knows what will happen... I will support Tyler in whatever he chooses to do. I do know that it will be hard for him since him and Buzz had such a close relationship. thumb

If you looked at his "rivals" videos they are nothing but him playing the perimeter and knocking down 3's and driving to the hole and dishing. Oh and BTW they are all AAU videos and none are against 5'9 white boys. I just dont see how you can say that someone who a Street and Smith's second team ALL- AMERICAN (Top 10 player) will just be a role player at UT. Did you not see Tyler on National Signing day? They said nothing but great things and what a great addition Tyler would be and how fortunate UT is to get him. How can Ricco be overrated when he is not even rated on any recruiting site? How do yall think Ricco even compares to Tyler? Maybe yall see something nobody else is does. thumb

I have never seen Ricco play and i'm sure he's good (he is averaging about 18 or so a game), but let's look at the facts here...Tyler is at least a top 50 player nationally, he was chosen by Street and Smith as 2nd team all-american (that's top 10 nationally), and he's been nominated for 3 straight Mr. Basketball awards. Sure Giles Co. has more publicity than Waverly, but why is that? That's b/c they earned it with players like Tyler and Channing leading the way and the many role players that step up when those two have less than normal performances. Nothing against Ricco or Waverly, but y'all are judging these two players on one game and that's ridiculous. I'm sure that Michael Jordan was outscored by many people in his career, but no one went around saying that they were better than Jordan. (Simple analogy...not saying Tyler is the next Jordan or anything) thumb
