  1. Does anyone know the schedule for this passing league?
  2. Hey CY, you keep asking everyone to use facts, Then please tell us when Harriman ever won a state championship. I am certain the FACTS will verify that Harriman played in the title game one time, but were defeated by David Lipscomb, my alma mater. If you continue to ask that arguments be based on factual information. Perhaps you could verify your own information, and not spend too much time bickering with individuals that have already explained, they are only a bunch of kids.
  3. Cosby may not be bush league, but it sure does look alot like deliverence!!!! da da dadada da dadada.
  4. To Mr. Wanna Be Coach: Why do you have to be such a whiney baby to run and tell on Wartburg fans for simply cheering for their team. If you or any of the other Cosby fans had a prob. with us you should have went and sat on your side of the gym. not Wartburg's! THATS JUST PURE BUSH LEAGUE! p.s. Get a real job!
  5. Then who reported the score to the Tennessean, it must be wrong. That would be two sources in agreement to your supposed score. Maybe you fell asleep and confused your dream with what really happened. Chech out www.tennessean.com, 13-3 and 12-2.
  6. Funny, I looked at the score posted on Coach T, and it seems that DA has run ruled McEwen twice. The math doesn't add up, because McEwen did not score 4 runs in either game. However, HC was able to play DA at DA and not get run ruled. HC even scored 4 runs in one inning. Be careful the wind tends to blow out at HC, especially when the pitcher tends to hang the curve.
  7. Only if the other teams bring their 11 and 12 year old Dixie Youth teams. McEwen couldn't beat Davidson Academy if they only showed up with a pitcher, catcher, and one fielder, and it would still be a run rule win for Davidson.
  8. My understanding is that Waverly has accepted an invitation to the Bar-B-Que, but it seems odd since people I spoke to said that Coach Bledsoe invited Houston County to come back. Is this a dodge by Bledsoe or will all three teams be taking part in the Bar-B-Que? Has he started beck the old habits he acquired at Dickson Jr. High, when he only played teams he didn't even have to practice to beat. He refused to play teams from Galatin and Hendersonville, etc... Who could't go undefeated playing Fairview, East Hickman, Cheatham Co., and Charlotte.
  9. Will Creek Wood be having another Bar-B-Que/Scrimmage this year? If so, who do they plan to scrimmage?
  10. The rumor out of Nashville is that the private schools in middle TN have a plan to create a seperate association, if forced to split by the TSSAA. I speculate that Ronnie Carter knows this information, and will not allow the split to happen. Carter knows that if he forces out the privates they will leave the TSSAA, but the public schools will just take whatever ruling put forth by the Legislative Council. Ronnie Carter will never risk losing the money. Public schools need to send the same message to Ronnie, and let him decide which group means the most to the Association.
  11. Go Eagles, You always want to talk about how private schools have better coaches, and work harder than public schools. Could you please tell us the record of Coach Smith when he coached in the public schools. After you give us his record, could you please tell us how all of his hard work and coaching superiority didn't show up in the public school spectrum.
  12. You ended your sentence too quick when you stated no other advantages. It should read, no other advantages except they can recruit and base schlorships on need ( I need a fullback, a quarterback, etc...). Here genius, you do the math. Over 70% of all members of the TSSAA want a split. Now explain why 70% are wrong and the few against the split are right.
  13. True, almost anyone can stop the run when you put as many people in the box as McEwen. Wonder what would happen if someone forced them to loosen up.
  14. Nope, they will have a difficult time going to state with people like Chuckie Arnold calling games in the Clarksville Area.
