Wayne County would win 10 of 10. Perry County is just honestly not as good as the hype. Period.

Wayne County delivered as predicted. PC is one dimensional (QB). Stop the QB, you stop Perry County. The game wasn't as close as the score. Congratulations to Wayne County. Clearly, they were heads above everyone else this season and should do well in postseason.

Prediction: WC 35 PC 7. It will be that lopsided.

You are correct. Mt. Pleasant dropped two long passes. However, as has been the case of late...CA again fumbled three times (losing the ball all three times). Twice CA fumbled in the red zone after driving the ball the length of the field. If CA could learn to correct the fumbles...it would have resulted in at least two more touchdowns tonite (and possibly three). Good hard fought battle by both teams.

Hey rocket scientist...read the earlier posts. I conceded that Wayne County dominated the game against CA. Never seen so many people that just want to argue (without having the common sense to read the posts that prompted their bickering). I will say it again S L O W L Y... Wayne County was a much better team to face than Perry County. I merely stated that I was shocked PC was not better than they actually were. Yes, PC won the CA game, but it was no extraordinary showing by PC...it was CA's terrible ball control (fumbled 7 times = untouched). If you know ANYTHING about football and skill positions, it was very easy to see...PC DID NOT outskill CA. CA turned the ball over repeatedly and gifted PC with field position, time of possession, and easy scoring opportunities. PC can crow all they want. I will say again, Wayne County will win by at least two touchdowns.

Also depends on which CA team shows up. When CA is clicking, they can score quickly and often. But, when the wheels fall off...they really fall off.

You must not read very well. Stated repeatedly that PC won the game and played the better game that night. No need to get defensive. No one can take away your win. Relax. Enjoy it.

21-0 at half (only b/c CA coughed up ball with seconds to go in half) and gave up third touchdown. Immediately after halftime, 21-14. On PC's second possession, Tucker was sacked twice forcing PC to punt. CA got ball and drove before fumbling again. Should have tied game. To say at no point was CA in game shows your partiality and ignorance. Doesn't matter. PC won the game, but don't argue the facts. Look at the film. PC got away with an easy win due to CA continually shooting themselves in foot. Would love to see a rematch of that game with CA playing like they're capable. Sorry, based on what I've seen this year...PC is not the caliber team Wayne County is.

Guru, our QB fumbled the snap no less than four times in first half alone. Offense fumbled three times in second half...in the backfield...untouched. Take credit if it makes you feel good to capitalize on unforced fumbles, fact is CA beat themselves. It was a game that afterwards, everyone was standing around wandering "how did we lose to "that" PC team"? PC just honestly wasn't nearly as good as everyone hyped them to be. With that said, PC got the win...CA lost. PC WAS better than CA that night! Nothing changes that. Good luck with Wayne County, but the reality you soon will see is that Wayne County is the only team in the District that is truly better than every one else. Their team has more athletes, unlike the other teams (including PC AND CA) who only have one or two really good athletes. On Wayne County's worst night and PC's best, PC "might" win. Hopefully, PC catches them on "that bad night". Good Luck.

No way! I have seen both of these teams play. Was really surprised PC was not a better overrall team (after hearing so much hype about them). CA played Wayne County and was honestly beaten by a better team. CA played PC and lost the game due to multiple fumbles/loss of possessions, and a failure of coaches to move personnel. The score was not reflective of the actual game. CA gave PC a touchdown before the half on a fumble, then came back after halftime and scored two quick touchdowns. Even CA's defense sacked Tucker multiple times. To sum it up, I didn't think PC was a bit better team than CA...CA lost on stupid mistakes. Wayne County will easily handle PC and harass Tucker all night long. Wayne County wins by at least two touchdowns, or as many as they want.

Wayne County outplayed and definitely outcoached CA tonight. Not sure WC is the number 1 team in state b/c CA certainly helped them with poor play (two blocked punts, three fumbles, and terrible play calling)... but WC is definitely a well coached good team. Congratulations on the well deserved win.

For a team that has a schedule ranking of 43rd, there sure is a lot of boasting on this board about how great Wayne County is this year. CA is better than Wayne County thinks. This will be a close game. CA is capable of winning...whether they do or not will soon be determined.

I saw both in person. Wayne County should not have a problem with NCS. WC will score early and often. With that said though, the team I thought was the best in District was Collinwood...who WC handled easily, then again-that's a rivalry game. As for Friday night, I predict WC over NCS by three touchdowns (more if they want it).

Sometimes that is the case...but not this time. Any team that fumbles the ball as much as CA did this year definitely has a coaching problem. You might want to study up on the basics of football. <LOL> YOU WIN GAMES IN PRACTICE !!!

Coaches allowed same player to though, didn't they? Can't be surprised when turnovers occur...if you don't take the COACHING STEPS IN PRACTICE to ensure it don't happen! Happened all year long.
