That is very true. We're working very hard to succeed this year. It wont be like past seasons where teams just roll over us like nothing. Our coach is one of the most competitive people ive ever met and i think thats the spark we needed. We are going to have a good season this year.

This year Sevier County has 4 seniors, and we also have 7 juniors.

haha funny. Dont you worry about the baseball team. The fall ball game we played was our first game all fall together. I guarantee if we played you guys now it wouldnt be a blowout. We have our positions filled now, we arent swapping people in and out to experiment. It'd be closer. Alot closer.

Sevier County and William Blount was a nail biter that kept me standing the entire game. It was back and forth. In the end my smoky bears pulled out the victory. VERY good game.

The Smoky Bears are in the zone this week. In class they talk about the game, in the morning theyre talking about it, and walking through the hallways you can hear it. They are focused like crazy. SC-17 WB-6

i just got that info about an hour ago. here's what was on volunteertv.com "The Sevier County High School family is mourning the loss of football and basketball player Lance Pate this evening... Pate suffered fatal internal injuries in a one-car wreck. It happened just after yesterday's downpour, on Boyd's Creek Road in Sevier County. Lance's high school football coach Scott Brewer says Pate's car hydro-planed. Pate would have been a junior this year at Sevier County High School. Services will be at the First Baptist Church of Sevierville . A receiving of friends service will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday..."

Sevier County running back Lance Pate has died in a wreck in Sevierville. He was driving his bike and slipped on the wet pavement, and crossed the middle line, hitting a car head on. He was a stand-out athlete and more importantly a great person. RIP Lance. We'll miss you. I apologize if any of the info is wrong, the details are still a little sketchy. I'll post more about it when things become more clear.

well its official. Coach Traywick has taken over SCHS Baseball.

Well either way, we dont have a head coach now. We have one coach left who knows the game very well. And i have heard of possibilities for new coaches, and from what i know, those coaches are very good at what they do.

Who are the new coaching possibilities? And why did they all get fired?

I know who you are and i have never known you to be the violent type of person. I have known you to be respectful and quiet. Ive played with you on teams a few times and never heard anything negative out of your mouth. Tensions were high of course, because it was a state championship game. Everyone wants everyone to be perfect. It cant happen. You just happened to say the wrong thing to the wrong person. He shouldnt have ever laid a hand on you. When i first read this it made me pretty mad to know that one of my friends had been knocked out by an ill-tempered catcher.

I think Pigeon Forge will be great again next year. They only have a couple people graduating and can only improve. I see them going this far again.

Cannon was untouchable tonight, and it showed. Seymour didnt show the intensity they usually have. After the Tigers started getting hits, they held their heads down and never brought them back up to look. Pigeon Forge worked their skills at the plate and Cannon did his thing on the mound. Congrats to the Tigers.

i can see this game going either way..both pitchers are good and both ballclubs can hit the ball. I wouldnt be surprised to see a pitchers duel and the game go into extra innings. Good luck to both teams. Ill definitely be there.
