this will be a good game for the first half. i think WB will hang with OR for awhile but the wildcats will pull away and win. they have the defense to limit WB's big play ability. OR - 31 WB - 14

enough about comparing any of these teams to maryville. they are the most dominating program in recent history and rank at the top in all-time tennessee high school football. lets get back to talking about region 2-5a

farragut won this game 31-7. both teams had good offensive drives but farragut was the one who capitalized on those drives. i think WB was stopped on fourth down like 2 or 3 times.

thank you!!! i hate threads that get off topic and its out of control. maryville should win this one, but it will be close. powell seems to have bounced back from a tough opening loss and have things rolling. this time i think that maryville's D is too tough and maryville will pull it out in the end. bearden leads farragut in stats bc theyve played 3 games and farragut has played 2. stats dont matter anyway.

maybe why farragut didnt pick up webb is bc they already confirmed to play central and powell last march. that's 6 months ago. if meske wanted to play us he should have called us earlier. however im still impressed that you beat powell the last 3 years bc people have them so overrated.

great game last night for farragut. their defense allowed just one possession past the 50 and they stopped that drive on 4th down. offensively they sustained long drives and moved the ball with the run and the pass. everything looks good heading into bearden.

i saw some great catches being made last night on both sides of the ball. both of these teams played well and should have a great season for each ball club.

all the comedic trash talkin aside because that's all it is for laughs. but this should be good game with farragut coming out of top. heritage has done a great job with their new coach and they will compete in every ballgame this season but i dont see them winning this one.

a low scoring affair should be what to expect in this one. heritage has gotten off to a great start and have a lot of confidence. farragut lost a heartbreaker in the fourth quarter to a strong central team. i see this game being about field postiton and who can make the most of their opportunities but in the end farragut should win. i dont see how u could say that farragut would need a better coach. coach courtney is the defensive coordinator that shut out central's offense for 3 quarters. the problem seems to be on the gameplaning on the offensive side of the ball for farragut. they didn't seem to make any adjustments once central started to stop them in the second half. im sure they will make the corrections and learn from this game and carry on through the rest of the season.

the game was great to watch and be apart of and the atmosphere was outstanding. good luck to both teams throughout the season.

i love to watch jay run. he had nearly 60 yards rushing in the only half he played in against webb last year. he is a great power back with good speed. thumb
