Who are some of the best players in the state that will be seniors this year?

He got off to a slow start during the season cause his eye prescription was messed up! He got new contacts and hit his first HR on April 1st. He ended up with 11 hr's on the year! During the month of April he hit a HR every 5 at bats! As far as colleges go, today was the first day they could contact players and he received calls from Memphis, MTSU, and the University of Kentucky! He also expects to hear from Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt!

Another rumor going around is that in AAA millington and arlington will be in the west tn district rather than memphis.

I played at WC and graduated in 91 but have since moved and am an Off Coord in west TN. Madewell is a great person, he was a great player, i think it can be reasonably deduced that he either is or can be a great coach. Give him time to build his program! They do do head to head and then overall, but you have to start it over each time a position in the playoffs is determined.

If Liberty beats NS then they are third no matter what Hardin does because of the tie breakers.

Here is the point he is trying to make! Hardin County already has three region wins. If they lose to Henry they will be 3-3 in the region. Liberty already has 3 wins in the region. If they lose to Northside they would be 3-3 in the region and NS would be 3-3 in the region so you have a three way tie for third. Since none of these teams has beaten the other two you must go to overall record to determine the third seed in the playoffs. That would be hardin because they have 7 wins. So they are third. Now you have to break the tie for the forth spot. When you are doing tie breakers to determine positions in the playoffs you always start the entire process over with each spot. The first tie breaker is always head to head. NS would have beaten Liberty so they would be in. Does that explain it?

I believe slapper is right! Hardin County already has seven wins. So if NS wins. Hardin would be third even if they lose to henry because they would already have more wins. Then NS would have beaten Liberty head to head and would be in!

North Side's offensive coordinator is from Waverly and has won four "Battle of The Bridge" contests.

Jcm does have new coach! He has not been announced yet because he is being processed by the system! I will tell you this though, he is a very good coach that has been around west tn football for a while! Very good hire for JCM!

I can assure you that having the atheletes on offense is not the problem. The problem is Melrose's scheme and how predictable they are in each set. They also never try and get the numbers game on offense. They can be explosive and hit you with the big play. No disrespect to the great playmakers that Henry Co. has, but Melroses's number 13 will be the most dangrerous player on the field, but they dont use him enough. Melrose also doesnt put enough pressure on the defense. Unless they do something different Henry Co. should hold their offense in check for the majority of the night. We had two alignment busts in man coverage that went for big plays including their first touchdown. They did not move the ball great against us and the score doesnt show that. In the fourth quarter when they scored all their points they had an extemely short field on 3 of their TDs. I am picking Henry Co. because I think they have the better scheme offenisvely than does Melrose. I think the defenses are a wash. Meroses kids are extemely fast and tackle well. Henry Co's are tough with good speed and they play hard. Both teams are sound in what they do, but can give up plays in the pass game.

This game is not all about who wants it more. Both teams are going to play hard and will not give up. There is a lot of football scheming to be done by both teams. There are ways for each team to get an advantage over the other. Just depends on how much film has been watched and no one has watched more film on these two teams than I have.
