Congrats to TCA Lions! Tomlin and Esenburg were indeed too much for Halls. The TCA line played an outstanding game against a much bigger Halls line. Way to go Lions.

Sounds about right

Haven't seen FA play this year, but I know JCS is a good 1A team. I guess we will know Friday night if FA is as good on the field as they are on the boards.

WOW, let's evaluate. JCS posters:New coach no good. Team played bad. Officials stink. TCA fans: Cheer for their team. Now, which is poor sportsmanship and embarrasing?

TCA played extremely well Friday night. IF they can keep those players on the field all season, they will surprise some people. Nathan Cole should be back on OL soon. Watch for Joel Essenberg as a breakout player for the Lions. Hewitt Tomlin could be the best QB in town.

Too soon to tell. While the Jamboree had some good football, no team stood out as a dominating force. It may be half way into the season before the cream rises to the top.

USJ-JCS We'll know pretty quick if USJ is on a comeback

Chris Donald is the real deal. His play reminds me a lot of Patrick Willis and I think it's safe to say that Willis will be playing on Sunday afternoons.

TCA looks to return to playoffs after a 1-9 season. The Lions looked solid on both sides of the ball in Spring scrimmages against Lake Co. and Perry Co. Last year's adversities gave a lot of young players a lot of experience. Unfortunately, Calvin Shaw's promising career appears to be over due to knee injuries. He did not participate in Spring practice.

I second that. He wins year after year and for the most part, without exceptional talent.
