OR thinks of DB as their number one rival too which might shock the locals here. Does Science Hill still think of you guys as their top rival? You've got to win from time to time to make a rivalry go and teams like Clinton and Farragut just haven't done that in recent years. I can't wait until Friday.

I keep reading Rebelraiders remarks about Coach Q not blowing out a team like Clinton and using examples of using two QB's against Alcoa. OR used 3 QB's in the first half of the Clinton Game. Get your facts right. Clinton is terrible.

We aren't talking about injuries we are talking about playing the game. Do you think Coach Stevens would jump and down when a Clinton player got hurt. Of course not. That would be classesless and I would call for his job. But scoring points in a game is the goal. We want to score more than you. Somebody has to win and somebody has to lose. You don't get it. Put yourself in the Oak Ridge players shoes and not just the Clinton kids shoes. You can't tell a kid not to play hard. Ask any of them. They want to score as many points as they can. I am sure you are a mother and I respect that but the game is played hard and only one team walks away happy.

I don't think Oak Ridge and Clinton should play each other again. Nobody in Oak Ridge thinks of them as a rival anymore. They have only won 10 times since 1943 and they seldom are competitive. Dobyns-Bennett is who Oak Ridge enjoys playing. If it weren't a money game I would be for dropping them. How many players dressed out played for Clinton against Oak Ridge? Hardly any subs played.. Starting OB went most of the way and they still kept giving up points against the 4's and 5's. Classless.. you should have let them enjoy the enviroment of high school football..and then maybe OR could have broken the centry mark.

Define Class? Is it just this years coaching staff or last years staff that scored 60 on Clinton that lacks class? In the past few years lets see, Clinton tears down Oak Ridge's goalpost, steals the padding on the post a few years later and every other year defaces the field. The only criminal act in scoring 74 points is that it was Oak Ridge beating up on your Dragons. Would you be saying that if your guys had won in the same way? Tell me what you mean by class? Tell me what you would have done if you were the coach of OR?

Maryville fans who weren't at the Oak Ridge/Clinton game and don't know how OR scored 74 points. Beware of just how bad this Clinton team is. Tell your kids not to score. Tell your kids not to play hard. Tell your kids to hand the ball back to the Dragons when they turn it over four or five times. I'm sorry, you play for George Quarlles..here is your fumble back. I am 15 years old and I don't want to score my first touchdown. I have no class if I do. I'm sorry if I out ran you to the endzone maybe next time I will walk in or better yet just throw up my hands and say I have class and I don't want to win. What a joke.

Lets see.. Oak Ridge had 10 first downs in this game and 74 points. Lets see Oak Ridge scored one touchdown in the final 18 minutes of the game. That is not running up the score. Face it, Clinton is not a very good team. Probably great kids but they aren't as good as Oak Ridge. As for what comes around goes around, since Clinton only beats Oak Ridge once every 10 years..oooooooo we're shaking... CMS if you think that the feelings of the Clinton players should be a factor in this you are living in the 8 and 9 year old leagues at the Boys Club. I bet if you ask the Clinton players if they would have liked to beat Oak Ridge by 74 they would say.. no way we would like to win 100-0. You need to worry about Maryville this week because as bad as Clinton's defense is be ready for another butt kicking. Define class? Is it when you lay down and tell kids that trying their best is not the thing to do? Get real..

Oak Ridge will face off with the Dragons on Friday night. I watched Clinton on Friday night and they seemed a much improved team. Do they have enough to stay with the Cat's? Who is the Clinton QB and for Oak Ridge fans, who will start for them at quaterback? Is Gulmire still hurt?

Well, I guess I didn't see it that way. If you don't count the Int the score was 3-2. I think #20 would have and should have been able to return that fumble. If Gulmire doesn't fumble than who knows? I think most of us would think being smashed would have been by 4 TD's or more.. Just my thoughts. Why are you so negative?

I too wish the Farragut team a good season but a school that size should never have the down seasons they have had over the past 20 years. Good luck in your rebuilding and we shall see you week 10 to see how you have done.

I think that a good coach uses what talent he has to their abilities and not to fit a system. I think what people should say is that Oak Ridge still has the ability to play smashmouth football should they elect to. I think they should because they proved they could against Maryville. I also think that this scrimmage was good for Oak Ridge to see what it can and cannot do well and work on it. I don't blame the format as a reason OR lost. I don't blame the staff for looking to become a better team in the future. So what..we lost on the scoreboard but think of what good will come out of it after the staff looks at the tape.

Farragut was happy with a close game with Oak Ridge last year in the regular season and made a big thing of it. Look what it got them in the playoffs? Didn't Oak Ridge beat them 48-0? Farragut is good for Knoxville but they can't compete for a state title. NEVER WILL

I am not going to blast the new coach or the old coach or tell you who I think should have been selected coach. I do want to express my concern over the lack of players on the 2005 team. Why are there so few players at a school that in the past has dressed 100 or more players? Is this a statewide trend?
