Im not here trying to stir up that noone can beat either of these teams but if they do play this year and both teams go undefeated in the regular season when and where would this game be played.

If you dont believe things has changed at Loudon you have then im sorry for you. I have watched Louon for many many years My belief is Coach harig stepped up and realized he had to play the role of head coach and stand up and take moer control but either way they won. And Good Luck to both teams on the rest of their season.

Is that it? I didnt get any stats on the game or anything but did they stick jv in second half or something cause that doesnt sound like the normal Riverdale only getting 27 points in a game.

Here is a question. how far away is MHS from getting into 5a with the student population?

I am from east tennessee and no offense to Maryville but the Rebels would be lucky to get within 14-20 points of The Warriors. Sure some may call me crazy but thats fine. It is my opinion go with it or not Riverdale is the best in Tennessee. Don't get me wrong Maryville is a great team and also great coached and would surely be in the top 5 if not the top but not # 1.

Well im glad to see that loudon pulled this one off. It looks like some changes has been done in the coaching staff because the play calling for once in many years has changed which is why Loudon won tonight. L.C focused on hawkins and got Mr.Cambell,Mr.Friits and some passing done just to open the way for Mr. Hawkins record setting night and its not just that it was a record setting night it makes it better because it was against L.C. But either way its still early in the season so don't get to down but Loudon don't get to cocky.

Please tell me you don't honestly think William Blount is part of their tought schedule.

Anything is possible unless you think Ridgeway might go 15-0 Nothing against Ridgeway but they are in 5a now but I also checked their schedule and 10-0 is looking promising as long as they keep their heads out of their butts and stick together as a team. They should be well off.

Its crazy. The odds of one of these two teams winning state are 99.9% Now the question is which team will take it in the playoffs. Oak Ridge has scored 122 points in 2 games allowing only 6 and Riverdale 139 pts and allowing only team although they did play a very good team that was out of state but not good enough for the Warrioes lol . But this PLayoff match will most likely decide 5A state. I know it is far to early in the season but what are some predictions and if both go undeafeated where will the game most likely be held. My prediction is the Warriors will prevail as always and go on o win another state title.

The game is this friday and both sides will probly be packed as always. its been a while since this game was predicted to be so close so if you go be prepared to stand up a long tmie.

Its like this. If Loudons offense plays like it did againt Sweetwater this would could be tough if L.C takes advantage. Don't get me wrong Loudon won by 19 but to have as many oppertunities as they did without scoring doesn't look to good. I mean from the sounds of if Loudons star (Hawkins did't do to well which really caused problems for their offense.And wiht L.C coming off a beating like they took against the Panthers lol they arent going to come into this game without wanting to take their anger ou on Loudon. Loudons defense was promising although sweetwater couldnt hold on to the ball at all I mean it may have been the lotion that got on the ball who knows but look for this game to be a heart pounder the whole way through. It sounds to me that if anyone dislikes a team to just go choke their best player and he is gone and then you can say good bye to them for the rest of that game and the next. Its not right and not right at all. I mean would it be right for Alcoa to stick their 2nd team in start choking Mary's first team just to get them all kicked out. Now what would you think about that?

Talking about size hte only problem with that is that L.C might be ashamed to get beat by a smaller school. I mean there is nothing wrong with a 2a team playing a 4a team Alcoa and Maryville do it and I dont see any tears fallen. The Battle of the Bridge is a tradition that should not be taken away. The community and kids will all be affected. One little incident and L.C freaks out it happens which shows how intense this rivalry is and for anyone to take this from the kids that strive soo hard to beat each other is just insane. There is no other feeling then playing the team that you dislike the most and winnnig the whole week of practice you study the other team and do what oyu can to perpare for the game you could remember for the rest of your life. Then the students come together to support their school and then you also donate alot of food just to beat your rival. The person or people in charge of getting rid of this rivalry honestly can not care to much about their students or the community that they are supported by.

Not trying to down L.C or anything but you must look who you played. Sequoyah!! And no offense to them but they lost everyone last year that made them good. So now they are rebuilding and you take pride in beating them. Just like if Loudon was to say they are great cause they beat Tellico. But when L.C produces big against Maryville or Central then you can say your number one. But I must say both Hightower and White seemed very impressive and if L.C can keep defenses guessing with some passing they may be a hard team to beat. And to comment on Sweetwater, Their QB is very impressive he has one heck of an arm and that pass for a touchdown also impressed me. Now if they can keep more passing in and keep the defenses off the run they should be able to produce some numbers.The Midway and Polk game was just slow. A a school vs a aaa school just doesnt make since even though the division doesnt always matter it was all run plays and just slow. I figured maybe Midway and Tellico or Seouyah should have played.

Im sure everybody hates hearing this over and over but as long as Alcoa plays with everything they have and all heart they can not be stopped in 2a.

You dont get to play for Florida State by just looking pretty my Pick goes to Brandon Warren and the you have a monster of a running back that gets to play for Tennessee where backs are special there Dustin Lindsey. Honestly there are no better picks then the boys from Alcoa.

First off I dont understand how you can say this is not his first year. Second this game will be nowhere near the way the Loudon vs Fulton game was last year. Reason 1 Fulton was beaten two time one by L.C and the other By A.E now look at Alcoa who was beaten one time which was the 4a state champ Maryville. And as for talent in this game Acloa has much moer talent then Loudon. And as for the comment earlier saying Warren will run Packett over that will be a rough challenge for Warren. Packett is not only tough but he is strong as an ox. And as for the whole team being back thats also wrong they lost both safetys a defense of end a starting lineman and also a very good kickersome positions being filled easy and some not but. And they may return 14 seniors but there can only be 11 on the field at one time. And for the DBs stick Warren on the side with Queen and he should be pretty wel off during the game. But like I said this game isnt even gonna be close.
