  1. Titan I am not sur wwhat game you have been too? But in the last 4 games huntingdon has scored 48, 35, 13, and 53 points. all but the milan game the first team has been taken out either late in the third quarter or early in the 4th to keep things respective. Milna has a very good defense giving up only 13 points per game. So until you figure out what your talking about you should not post negative posts. I think the coaches are more balanced this year with throwing and running. I believe they had almost 500 yards rushing against gibson county and 650 against mkcenzie. Not to mention they havent played adamsville or anyone of that caliber this year.. And have 3 sophomore linemen starting. JMO!
  2. I like this post. I am a coach in Tn. I have to admit we do have a pretty good record against out of state. But we are not exactly playing any hard talkent from out of state. why dont we send Riverdale or Maryville to play Maybe Hoover Alabama and see what happens. I think we should send our powerhouse schools to play other states powerhouse schools. Just to see where we rank up.. Of course I am not sure anyone can beat Hoover or Prattville Alabama. Those two teams are very very good..Just a thought.
  3. I have agree with you on Donald. Just ask Trenton Peabody who the best LB is. I think by far Donald is the best LB in the state. I am just a football fan not just Huntingdon. But those guys play football. The other one is #44 B. Snydor. He is averaging 12 or 13 tackles per game, has given two concussions to players, and has block 3 punts and recovered 3 fumbles. He doesnt get as much credit as donald because he isnt as gifted. But this kid is a great LB. Those two are too me the best duo in the state at LB. But this is just my opinion. Not anyone elses. Good Luck to all the schools this week.
  4. I dont think Htown will score 50 Friday night. But I was at the Mckenzie Game and I noticed the coaches took the starters out about 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter. I was impressed with that decision. Very Well done!! Could have been real ugly...
  5. I would like to say one thing and then I will leave it alone. I am a Huge Huntingdon Fan and have been for years. And as I see it they are winning. No they havent blown people out all year. But they havent always played the level of teams they have played so far. I have to question if some of you even go to the games when you make judgements on coaches and players when they are winning against some of the better teams around west tn. I would like to think 31 points per game and a 4-1 record against the teams they have played is awesome. And the defense has played awesome all year. Except for about 3 plays against Martin Westview. In case you havent noticed there is no Adamsville or anyone like that on the schedule this year. So instead of holding your judgement you should be behind your football team and cheer them on for Gods Sakes they are winning. How would you like to be 1-4 or 0-5???Think about it for a minute. Good Luck Mustangs Me and Mine will be either there or listening...NO matter what!!
  6. To answer the question about the deposits and who did it. I was told the kids were questioned who had supposively been apart of it. They did confess to doing the stuff at both Mckenzie and HTown. Funny part is, two were from Mckenzie and attended MHS and one from HHS. I knew that neither teams have players who would do that.
  7. The Mustangs seem to be clicking better each week. I hear the defense hits really hard and that they played well Friday night. Another note, as if Boo and Donald wasnt enough now they can pass. Someone knows what they are doing down in Huntingdon. Look for the HUNT to go on a rampage if they continue to click. Dresden better hold on.
  8. I agree with the fact that Riverdale has an excellent program and will one day be the best in TN. But I would like to see them go compete with the two teams that played on ESPN. WOW! i think it was NEAS out of Florida and Hoover from Alabama. That Hoover team is awesome. holy COW! So I think within state we have some wonderful teams, but I dont know if we have anyone who can compete with that level of competition. It was very impressive. I have always heard that it was Texas, Alabama, and Florida for football. I didnt realize it until I watched that Game. Those boys in Hoover were something else. I would hate to see the team that is able to beat them.
  9. Terrance Bell never played against a huntingdon mustang defense either. But he is an excellent back. He will do good things at Bethel when the coaches realize how to coach there and stop worrying about themselves. I have been to a couple of games and they seem to not have things together sometimes. But just my opinion maybe they have it on track now. At least they wised up and figured out how to recruit some around here. good luck to terrance bell and Mr. Nellet. But more importantly Mustang have to come up big tonight. By the way, did I mention Bell never played against a mustang defense! Enough said.
  10. Wow! did anyone see the Jackson Sun and read the write up from Mr. Guy. He actually admitted to not liking contact. WRONG thing to say to a Mustang Team. They take pride in hitting people just ask half of the Camden Lions, it looked like a warzone Saturday night. I give Guy his credit he is great! BUT to say you dont like to hit just fuels the mustangs fury to hit him even harder. I think it will be close but the team who doesnt make mistakes wins the game. I look for a high scoring game maybe with the edge going to the Mustangs with there ability to be physical and hit Markei Guy. If they fail to do so, he may run out of the stadium. Good luck TEAMS!
  11. To answer alot of your questions about the game. This one could go either way. The mustangs have alot of high power weapons. Martin Westview has GUY and alot of solid football players with experience. So its pretty balanced. If Huntingdon comes out rolling and I am sure their offensive coach will have another wrinkle or two for them just like Camden, then It could be a victory. If they start slow, then you can bet GUY will take advantage of that and put some points up. It should be a great game and I am sure the best team on this given Friday night will come out victorious. I did hear that Huntingdon is pretty sore following saturday nights war with Camden. I guess we will see! Good luck to both teams.
