Its called DISCIPLINE. A player does not just represent your school and program just on game day but in every aspect of their lives that is what extra curricular activities are for. Remember that these programs are a privilege not a right, and should be used for leverage. That is why I say any coach should be held accountable.

Especially if students at MC are afraid to either come or have left school

I feel sorry for these kids, but you have to think of the other 40+ players on the football team as well as the other 700+ students. Set an example and get these kids help AWAY from the program. A small suspension is not example. This IMO is a perfect opportunity to gain some respect from not only the students, but from the community. Yes, my son has randomly been tested twice

After reveiwing the stats and seeing them play I would say Polks offense is better than last year,kicking game is better as Hammons really works hard, defense maybe not as good as they seem not to play as hard

IF not for a knee injury all talk we be mute Haden Browder would be the winner, he's still dangerous but not running much yet. After seeing both teams play I say it s a toss up Grundy has better skill people than Meigs (my opinion) their QB is as good as any in the region. Meigs has a better defense and play more hard nosed and its at Meigs which is worth at least 1 TD. Meigs's lack of kicking game negates that advantage. Should be a great game to watch. I will pick Meigs by 29-28

Now that all the district 5aa teams are out of the tournament, what's your prediction for next year? Will there be any new comers that help any team, etc.? PLEASE NO TRASH TALK!!!

I am curious about Arron Douglas as to what kind of season he is having , what position he is playing, stats. My son played with him a few years ago and have'nt seen him in afew years.

I see this as a classic speed verses power. Polk has played one team that can problaly be compared to Loudon in East Ridge.I'm not sure Loudon has played a team that compares with Polk.Polk done a good job with Starr and Taylor of ER, if they have a similar performance Friday they should win by probaly 12

Polk County will be dedicating Larry G. Davis Football Complex Thursday, Sept. 1,with an open house to begin at 6:00pm. The dedication will begin at 7:30pm, all former players are invited to particpate in the ceremonies.

DERRICK DAVIS at Polk County, he took over a program that had won 9 games in 6 years and was winless the year before he took over. In his second season as head coach Polk won 9 games and has something like 40 overall wins at Polk
