Good luck to CAK. I dont think Milan has encountered an offense as precise and efficient as yours. Milan historically is defensive minded as I recall, but the game plan for CAK is very unique. CAK by at least 14

All these seniors biggest and most lasting accomplishment will never be any individual achievement or award. Football is IMO the ultimate team sport. Polks seniors have been a part of more victories than any class that has been before them, that is the ultimate stat that makes all others pale. That fact is the one we as old men will recall as long as our memories last, possibly a player or two, but most definitely the TEAM.

I disagree it wasn't a fluke Polk did what all good teams do, take advantage of mistakes by teams and coaches. Case in point a fake punt on 4th and 25 form your own 30 borders on arrogance, and another failed 4th and short attempt were IMO two of the bigger plays of the game both resulted in short fields and 14 points.

It used to be that if you moved you had to have the utilities disconnected at the residence you were moving from. i haven't read all the links from the TSSAA on this thread, so forgive me if I've been repetive.

Look for Michael Carter to be named head coach at Polk County next week, he has been Triplett's No.1 assistant for the past 3 years. Great guy from a great family that i think will do very well!!

With the 1st week of the season complete, how did your team do? What is the coming week look like?

Opening day is almost here what are the suprises from the pre-season? What teams/players really showed progress?

If I were you I would find myself a new best friend because the one you have now is a LIAR. #12 (my son) did nothing but play agressive football! In fact he and Quinn are friends having played baseball togather a few years ago. #12 has not ever played to hurt anyone but that is a risk you take when you put pads on (which apparently you would understand).

It's a shame Quinn Epperly wasn't selected for a Mr. Football finalist. It appears his numbers are good enough and his teams success speaks for itself. Having said that I will be pulling for my Wildcats to pull off the upset!
