  1. I hope you are wrong....I do not see either team scoring 35. and I do agree about Sykes....he was over shadowed by Warrens ability. Sykes is a player
  2. Hey sweetie....would you like my e-mail addy so we can talk other than here. this is really out of hand...so drop it please
  3. OK...I am a big Loudon fan and like others here we know that Alcoa has a bigger and tremendously atheletic starting group. I commend the one who put this progran together, I am not sure it is Coach Ried. it maybe the one before him. here are some things that I see * I do not see Loudon fumbling on the first play so Alcoa does not get an easy one right off the bat. * can Loudon contain and not over pursue on the backside? they did make second half adjustments to hold Alcoa to one second half score * can Loudon score? in game one Loudon recieved a bad spot on a pass that gave us the ball 4th and 2 on the 7 when in fact it should have been 1st and goal from the 4....Alcoa made have stopped us from there but I think we would have pushed that one in. ( I am not accussing anyone of cheating, we just got a bad spot. this stuff happens) also Loudon had a pretty good drive going in the fourth and stalled around the 30-40 yardline. * Has Alcoa improved since the last time Loudon /Alcoa played? * Does Loudon play for four quarters? that is what it will take to keep the game even close. * will this be a full crowd on both sides? I think $7.00 a head is hard on some families 0f 4+. * I think niether team scores over 30 points. with this I may be wrong but Loudon is better than some give them credit for ( not taking anything from Alcoa ) I just feel this will be a good game.it should be good football weather. again my prediction Loudon - 0 Alcoa - 0 at the start of the game and the winner will be the one with the highest score at the end. good luck to both teams but my prayers for victory go to Loudon
  4. this will be an interesting games with or without a cannon. and I do hope OS has a good 2006 season,,,,please do not take these post serious. GO REDSKINS
  5. this is too funny....I guess you are ticked....usually that is what the cap letters mean. anywayit is a joke just like you are....have a good night.
  6. good reply and I guess with that statement you are saying that you still use the same gym ( a.k.a. livestock aution floor ) and 3A teams are better than 2A teams...Loudon AA State champs 1969, 74 and 75. O.S. notta, never, zilch. and alot of people are use to losses in THAT gym because you all are crooks and cheaters and liars and thieve and thugs and rocket makers and coon hunters and thugs and cheaters and you all are really violent at times. it must be the inner family love connection that you all have over there. so with that said we will see you on the court. P.S. did I mention you all are just plain ole mean.
  7. I think this will be a good game....I will not pick a winner but everyone in Loudon knows where my prayers are. Alcoa is definately an excellent team but as I have said before anything can happen. I am sure Coach Reid and the Alcoa Players as well as Coach Harig and the Loudon players are well aware of. if both teams show up and play hard it should be an excellent ballgame. as for the argument of who is better, east or west? none of us can answer that. both ends of the state with the middle included has excellent programs. who would have thought 2-8 Shefield would have knocked out 10-0 Dyersburg in the first round. who would have thought Vandy would have taken Florida to 2 OT's . my point is this is football and anything is possible. Good Luck to Loudon next week and I hope they know that this team is bringing football pride back to Loudon. my prediction Just before kick off Alcoa - 0 Loudon- 0 and the team with the most points at the end of the game wins....I should be pretty close on this one.
  8. Well played game Loudon.....you did what you needed to do and it really shut there crowd down in a hurry. I am really sorry about the fireworks ( NOT ) but I guess by the second play of the game you all had forgotten all about those and was listening to " FIRST AND TEN REDSKINS " and at the end of that second play you all were greeted with "BOOM" . that was from our cannon and to tell you the truth we got a little tired of hearing it too so I am really glad our first string came out of the game so the scoring would slow down. with so many cannon shots you would think Grant or Lee was back in town. but anyway the game went somewhat as we expected. Loudon would win...the game would be out of reach for O.S. in the 4th and O.S. would show there colors again with the taunting and cheap shots. so good luck to the O.S. folks this year in basketball. do you all still play in that middle school gym? you know the one where it is so small you have to go outside to change your mind. that one is barely big enough to house your weekly Womens Coon Hunters / Better Moms Association Club meetings <<--one club, one meeting... And yes ...we do play Alcoa and we may or may not get beat...but as far as you all are concerned. you can pay $7.00 to get in or Andy Griffith comes on TV Land at 6:30 and 7:30..these will be new episodes for you all.
  9. yes Goosevol I bet you are right, we come in here and poke and pick at one another but Friday night the kids know how to act and what needs to be done. I hope they are more mature than some of us ( me included) good luck and GO REDSKINS
  10. Fact: Loudon did not shoot off the fireworks. I did it. I am a father of a player and I am very proud of the teams accomplishments this yeas and the school did not authorize nor pay for the display. the rule does say that fireworks or explosive devises are not allowed durring a regular season or playoff game. please define DURING... I view it as the time that exist from the first second of the first quarter to the last second of the last quarter or overtime. ours were fired before the clock started and after the cloked stopped at the end of the game. Fact: the wild west is in for a long night...Bless his heart ( hecklers) Fact: the reason you all hate the cannon and the fireworks is because it reminds you of revenuers rading your stills. Fact: you all need to get a grip Fact: we at Loudon are getting such a kick out of this Fact: You all really should get Cable...I am sure there are a lot of the Andy Griffith shows that you all haven't seen. and yes it is true...some are in color now. Fact: The town of Oliver Springs had to be spruced up just to pass for a dingy coal minning town in the movie OCTOBER SKIES. Fact: The O.S. wood working shop is bigger than there cafeteria ( no kidding ) Fact: if you all meet Alcoa next week you had better do it before they go on the field and tell you players it $7.00 a ticket. or 3 squirrels and a 'possum ( must be fresh kill) Fact: I am running out of facts oh yeah one more Fact: Angelcoach is develish person ( snot nosed brat) that is discusting I hope you all are laughing at this as much as I am. Good luck and be safe. Loudon 7,354 Oliver Springs 3 ( a safety and a PAT...the touchdown was wiped off but our paid refs let them kick the extra point)
  11. a player taking a swing at anyone is against TSSAA rules. I was being nice before but now here are my unleashed thoughts. if the kid can not control himself then he needs to be off the team and banned from OS events ( yes that can be done). doesn't matter who he is or how good he plays ( referring to all teams) I don't care what kind of syndrome he has he is a ticking time bomb. IF he were to take a swing at me for just heckling him then at that point he is a man and had better be able to take it like a man. I am sure alot of kids will ride the fence just to get to him Friday night. why shouldn't they. he has a weakness and we should penetrate that weakness and conquer our foes. I see an ejection coming for him because he has a problem. I have been to O.S. home games and you really have nothing to gripe about. Open containers and drinking alcohol at a game is against TSSAA rules and also illegal. so I hope you all do not try to sneak in corn squeezuns like some of the fans did last time. because this time they will be cited or arrested. and we will not shoot the fireworks so all you cry babies....or should I say CRY BABIES can stop whinning and come to the game.... we will be nice. I do not mean this to the good people of O.S. this is intended to those that wish to act like jerks and you all know who you are and if this offends you then I guess you are one of the jerks. and if you reply back in a negative way you also fall in that catgory. fireworks- $20.00.....fence hecklers- a dime a dozen..... the look on O.S. faces win they go home for the year - PRICELESS. Loudon 42 O.S. 20
  12. I have a question.... Is it true that Alcoa pratices the so called recruiting methods like Anderson County is known for. I work with the cousin of one of Alcoas biggest defensive players ( will not mention his name) and he told me that this kid should be at sweetwater but thru conversations with some key Alcoa people he was convinced to go to Alcoa. and what about the kid from up north Tennessee, what was so glittery that he wanted to come to Alcoa knowing he would not start this year and lastly what about kids on the team living with the coaches. something smells fishy to me and it is not fish.
  13. I do know the running back had 6 TD's against C.G. and is in the running for Prepextra offencive player of the week. anymore info from anyone?
  14. you all are pathetic.....begging for votes.
  15. whoever A.C. gets they need to have a recruiting skills and a large home to house all of the out of county players . I guess that leaves Randy Sanders out.
  16. what school have you experienced to have the best hopitality when you have visited there field for a game. this is intended to a possitive post so please treat it as such.
  17. OK OK OK ...DING, DING, DING....I see O.S. as being a very tallented team and like it has been said if these two team both bring there "A" game then I believe Loudon wins easily BUT the team that leave there "A" game on the bus will sit at home next week. and I know for a fact that both teams will not fold against Alcoa. they will play with all they have.
  18. look man I really wish you would drop the whinning about the fireworks....they have nothing to do with O.S. if they bother you that much then we will not have them ...our fireworks will be on the field from our players ( I hope lol) the way to stop the annoucer is to stop the Loudon offence, if you can't do that then just bring your earplugs or leave your hearing aid batteries at home ...big lol..but anyway good luck to O.S. and I hope the truely better team wins because of there skill and ability and not some bad call or unfortunate event. GO REDSKINS ( a.k.a. richkids )
  19. This is the story the way I decifered it....all of this may not be factual so I hope it does not upset anyone. the player in question is a pretty good athelete and when he did something good that night he liked to dance around, I am sure it was his way of celebrating but anyway when Loudon had a great play and got by #6 one of the Loudon fans ( Fence coach) made a statement to him to the effect " where is your dancing now" and the kid exchanged a few words with the heckler and then made his move to go after the heckler and take a swing at him. I do agree that any of the fans should not heckle the other team but it does happen from almost all schools and yes even O.S. is not immune from having these type of fans. I hope O.S. can come to Loudon and have a good game with no issues from either side. I do know for a fact that O.S. is a good team capable of defeating anyone in our region, yes....even Alcoa. the bottom line is if Loudon is ready to play they will win but if they play like they have in the last two games then O.S. wins. this game is played at Loudon and game time is at 7:00 pm for those that may not know.
  20. Will OS bring bad blood to Loudon for the second round? Can loudon hang the second time around? Is Cody West #6 still a member of the team ? Who wins and why? lets hear your thoughts and comments.
  21. vey well said VOICE nothing makes a player get cold chills and a heavy heart as to look up and see a faithful following.....home or away , near or far , win lose or draw , lets these kids see that I, we, you , us all support the team and there hard work and accomplishment and for the fans of the team that is unfortunate and loses...stick around as the game ends and cheer them on. just because someone has to lose tonite doesn't mean that they are losers. good luck to all and may your travels be safe. "TODAY IS MERELY A STEPPING STONE TO TOMORROW"
  22. I totally agree and below is a copy of what I wrote on anothers post that congratualted Loudons season I agree with you Free ( rare occassion ) but this team has done a complete 180. I am a senior parent and I have followed the team close for the last 4 years and even coached a lot of these boys in youth football. this is not to take anything away from the Juniors, Sophomores or freshmen but theses seniors have displayed great leadership both on and off the field. when I see these kids out in public and they are very respectful to others and lead by example. for the past three years when I would attend practice sessions I saw alot of players that thought it was all about them. they never really bought into the team play concept, well these players are gone. if you attended one of this years practices you would be hard pressed to think they would be a region contender. because they are having so much fun it appears they are just goofing off but in reallity they are such a close knit team they concentrate and execute when the time calls for it and have fun and enjoy the sport of football in between plays as it should be. heck far...I have even noticed that the head coach is picking up on some of our Tennessee hillbilly ways, I knew he would come around. just kidding coach, we all knew you really are redneck wanna be lol. now that the regular season is over I think the team needs to stay focused, do what you do best and have fun. WIN , LOOSE od DRAW the eleven that take the field each play represent every fan, coach, parent and ever person that has ever worn the Redskin uniform and should carry there head high and be proud of what they have occomplished in life as a player , student and a person. TODAY IS MERELY A STEPPING STONE TO REACH TOMORROW. and I too agree that if not Loudon then Alcoa it shall be and I would hope that Alcoa feels the same about us. I have had alot of fun picking at folks in here but I hope they all understand it is just picking and I do mean it in jest. I hope to see Alcoa in 3 weeks at BB stadium. GO REDSKINS.
  23. Het Tex...I think you are clueless....all of you all should drop it. and if you could really care less then you would not follow the post and reply with things that make no sense..... Later all
