  1. Siegel & Centennial tied 2-2 Several key players injured on both sides.
  2. I believe its at the school. 2005 John Paul II High School 117 Caldwell Drive, Hendersonville, TN 37075 615-822-2375 | 615-822-6226 (fax) info@jp2hs.org There was a time change for the Siegel game. Moved from 3:30 to 5:15pm
  3. Scrimmage thursday nite - Siegel over Independence 2-0 Good game, scoreless in 1st half. Early in second half 1st goal a cross by Kim Conrad headed in by Brianna Garner. Second goal a pass from Kim Conrad gave Hayley Sloan break a way. Siegel looked much better, seams to be coming together. Very good showing by a number or freshmen and sophmores.
  4. Stats can be incredibly deceiving. Riverdale's schedule last year was weak and they were known for running up their scores against weak teams to pad their stats. Not to take anything away from hanna, she's good but Kim Conrad is one of the best midfielders out there but doesnt get the recognition. Here’s my case about Riverdale running up their scores last year; Date Opponent Score 08/22 at Franklin Co w 5-1 08/24 at Lincoln Co W 7-1 08/29 * at Lebanon W 7-1 08/31 * White Co W 7-0 09/05 LaVergne W 14-0 09/07 * Warren Co W 10-0 09/14 at Smyrna T 2-2 09/18 * at Murf. 5. I thought Tom Kreager blew it on his player list. His team ranking may be ok but he overlooked many better quality players than some of whom he listed. Dont get me wrong many on his list are correct I just think he needs to do a bit more homework. Oh well it is what it is and I just cant wait for the games to start and then we will see who the players are. Just wish this blasted heat would go away.

Really! I'm a bit supprised Columbia beat Shelbyville but I do know two of the Columbia girls Mallory Brown and Lauren Wilson played for TNFC 91 and I thought they both improved tremendously through this years club season. What other Key players are on the Columbia team?
  7. Look at the Smyrna is Back thread and you will see where she's from and what an attitude! Sounds like she could use some parenting.
  8. Independence will be a tough game. They have a number of club players that I know and they will bring a good game. They just happen to be in one of the strongest districts in the state with Franklin, Brentwood, Ravenwood, etc. Siegel has a number of freshmen and sophmores coming in that will contribute this year and help fill the gaps left by the seniors that graduated. That was mostly defense, Siegel's offense should be pretty strong, hopefully scoring lots of points this year.
  9. Siegel's preseason is tough. 08/09 at Father Ryan (0-0-0) 6:00 PM 08/14 BGA (0-0-0) 7:00 PM 08/16 % at Independence (0-0-0) 6:30 PM 08/21 at Centennial (0-0-0) 7:00 PM Bga is the only one I believe they may lose, but depends on how subs are used through the preseason, then its any ones guess.
  10. WOW! That was an entertaining exchange.....
  11. It sounds like tnfc, xpress and the strikers could all play in the premier league. Last year there were 3 teams from LA or MS, not sure which one but one state did have 3 teams.
  12. Arielle is the only one that now lives outside of TN. There was another player that played some with them from Florida last year but I dont think she has this year. They have recruited players from all over the state but most are from the Mid TN area.
  13. I'd like to think your right but I'd be very surprised the Strikers didn't research this throughly. I'm sure she was rostered at the beginning of the club season and I believed moved after that.
  14. I'm sure Arielle will be playing with them and yes she is a good player. But I still think the Strikers will be beatable. I was wishing one of the better florida club teams would have tried to pick her up by now.
  15. Ok I'm confused. In an earlier post I thought the seeding was Lobos, Express, Attack, Impact. Which would mean TNFC would play Express first and Strikers would play the lobos. But the above seeding has Express coming out of state league play as #1 and Lobos #2. I'm just trying to make sure I understand it correctly.
  16. Was this the final state league game? How did the teams come out in the seeding?

    AAA 2007

I would swap Siegel and Hendersonville in the AAA ranking. I think Hendersonville lost more talent than Siegel did from last year. Siegel still has most of their offense back and the core of their defense. Shelton will have talent to replace the senior defenders they lost.
  18. Any Final updates in the state league? I'm looking for the ranking.
  19. MY prediction is that TNFC will win U 16 State. The win over the Strikers in the premeir league was a confidence builder and plants doubt in the strikers. The top four are TNFC, Strikers, Xpress and the lobos. Their could be some interesting upsets in the tournament. Your right, it will be fun to watch.
  20. Final - Blackman 1-0 over Houston
  21. Yes I did and yes TNFC 91 has improved this year. It was a hard fought game, Striker had more shots on goal but were mostly wide and high. TNFC had their opportunities too and it wasnt until the 68th minute that TNFC's Lucy Brient passed a great ball in front of Morgan Murray who had a nice finish in a breakaway. TNFC only allowed 2 goals in the 9 game premier league series which is really made the difference.
