Baylor outplayed cleveland in there scrimmage last Saturday. I think you need to swap those two!

Matthew Patton and McClain Still at Baylor are two good ones and a great back in Kevin Cooper to complement them.

Yes Tyler Massey is the starting QB at Baylor. He brings a lot of skills at both passing and running. Had a scrimmage today in Cleveland and he looked pretty good running the offense!

A good point that has come up in conversations this week with a few Baylor folks. The faculty and friends of McCallie seem to understand the concept of taking care of buisness privately, obviously there are some (Hopefully very few) at Baylor who feel the need to air their dirty laundry...

I agree completely! The kids are the most important thing. Baylor will get through this tough situation. Remember, people send their kids to Baylor for the education first and foremost not athletics. I know for a fact there is more to this situation then what the outside world is hearing. Coachathome is right on!

Why should these 'mysterious trustees' come forward? They don't have to answer to anyone, much less a bunch of guys on sports talk. I'm sure any trustees intentions are whats best for Baylor in the long run.(hopefully) However, the grown ups seem to care more about beating McCallie than the kids do, there is alot of pressure on the team that week. Although a win over big blue would be sweet, the boys would probably be more pumped about beating Brentwood. As for TSSAA dude, a man in his position should be more professional, no excuses!

I agree! When the head coach tells assistants to do something they had better do it. Also, I've heard all I want to hear regarding all these all americans that should have been on the o-line. I think the o-line did a pretty good job, remember they got to the semi finals!

I agree! I think Jones would be a great hire. Tough football coach. Knows how to win.

I'm hearing the job at Baylor is down to two guys, Massey at MUS and Jones at Mountainbrook. I don't think McCullum or Rankin are in the mix. Anybody got any other news?

They need to look for a very successful high school coach and not a college coach who was let go. I don't think anyone has had an official interview. I heard they were narrowing the list down to 3 or 4 to officially talk too.

Who is Jack Daniels? Never heard of him.

Please stop with the rumors. If someone knows something legitimate than post it. I'm wondering why more information isn't coming out. Any thoughts?

How did he make Baylor the program that it is! Is being 6 and 5 every year okay? This program needs to move forward and hopefully it will. Justify your response!

This is such a disappointment for the school starting last march and ending last week. I can't believe how rumors were started and how coaches and others were saying things to the players. they should have had a player meeting before they announced this. Both of these individuals did a great job and its sad it is ending this way and more importantly is the effect on the players. Big mistake!!!

I agree, the key to this game will be Baylor's ability to travel across the state. They are doing things a little different in breaking up the trip. It should be a great game but I think if Cooper runs the ball effectively they win in a close one!

Not bad picks. I think the key to the Baylor vs. MUS game is who stops the running game of the other team. Whoever does will win!

Could be although I think Baylor is a better football team now then back when they played. Can't speak for MUS. I believe it comes down to which defense shuts down the other teams running game. That is the key!

Baylor at MUS. Any predictions? It was a great game at Baylor. Both teams are pretty similar.

You guys seem to count Baylor out of every prediction. They really have a great team and I believe they can give MUS all they want. I like Baylor and CBHS in the final at MTSU. I believe Baylor feels like they can win the big game after tonight. Keep pounding them Coop!!

I believe Baylor will score more than 7 points tonight. They may have a little suprise or two in store for MBA. Go Red Raiders!
