Im out of town right now so I haven't been able to look in the paper, but for what I hear it has somthing to do do with the "dead period". It has been extended, moved or somthing of that sort. Now im not sure if this is a state wide change, but is at least effecting some chattanooga area schools. Can someone supply some more information?

Do these transfers have names?? Ive heard some of them just came from David Brainerd... just curious which two teams will beat them in '07?

I get on this during school, so somtimes I forget to log out and other people come along and post stuff that ridiculous and a lie, Like the whole hover and lakeland players... LV also only lost 2 starters a Lineman and Db but as of right now 1 new player that if he continues to work hard over the summer can be a Josh Goins type caliber player

Sure Boyd may be better in a couple of years after theyve had a chance to recruit in a few more athletes... But honestly i thought this forum was about region 3 1A... i dont remember Boyd being in this region anymore! As far as the region goes, it looks as if Pitt will continue its region dominance... But, don't forget about Lookout Valley who will be returning all of their skill position players and all but 2 linemen... Not to mention Chas Scruggs will be a senior next season! He was by far the best running back in the region last year with over 2000 yards rushing and over 25 rushing TD's... I do not understand how they arent even in the conversation of best teams in region 3? Silverdale talks all about these transfers... thats great but theyve seen no varsity action! Lets wait till they atleast have a varsity statistic before we talk about how great they are! anyway... my prediction for for 2007 region standings: South Pitt, Lookout Valley, Grace, Silverdale.... with Temple fighting for the bottom spot with Basin

Basin is a very good trap team. As long as Temples linemen don't go flying up field, and they're linebackers fill...temple should win pretty easy...

Grace has improved alot since last year, they have a very athletic QB and #9 is very quick as a nose guard...he gave Copper Basin's line heck...LV will have to play a good game to win

Don't get me wrong Chas is the best back we have. But we also have a couple of solid players that can get the job done. Everyone on the field, and in the stands, knows who's gonna get the ball and he still gets 200+ yards a game...wouldn't you want him to have the ball???

Temple is an offensive machine

but the ting is LV didn't play a good game. They haven't played one yet. But some of whitwells players need to grow up and stop having hissy fits on the field and walking off after the game. A real class act there. They better hope they don't take character into consideration when they pick all state players.
